About the author: Cathy Jean Palmer was born in Hollywood, California and grew up in nearby Burbank. Her father, Gordon Palmer, worked at the movie studios as a grip while her stay a home mother, full of wit and humor, volunteered in the community. "Photography was a hobby of my dad's and I guess I just followed in his shoes!" Now living on the beach in beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida, looking for seashells and taking photos are her favorite pastimes.
