One thing is for sure about Hurricane Michael, it was manipulated by man from the beginning. That goes for all of our weather, it is all molested by man in one manner or another. This storm was completely full of and surrounded by aerosols left by planes and ships from the start. As acknowledged by the American Meteorological Society;
"Aerosols act mostly as cloud-drop condensation nuclei (CCN), and some of them as ice nuclei (IN), both of which change cloud radiative and precipitation properties in complex ways."
"In warm moist atmospheres, aerosols often invigorate deep convective clouds, usually resulting in greater electrical activity, stronger damaging winds, and a greater likelihood of flash floods. Studies indicate that aerosols might also modulate the intensity of tornadoes and hurricanes."

Then there is the path of this storm and the devices used to monitor and image it. The video below is of radar imagery from yesterday. NexRad Base Reflectivity to be more specific. Weather radars work by sending and receiving microwave pulses. When this storm got close to Florida I started noticing 'interference' spikes and other pulse anomalies radiating out from all sides of the storm. I decided to check the single radar stations to see which ones were giving the 'interference' signatures. For most of the day the NexRad in Tallahassee, FL was in what is referred to as 'searchlight mode'. That can be seen on the single radar image below as a line or beam over Georgia. In searchlight mode a beam is focused at a fixed location and the average power density is much higher than it is during normal operation. If in this mode for more than 5 minutes it can significantly heat that area of the atmosphere. This radar was in this mode for most of the day as T.S. Gordon approached as well. The next radar I took a look at was the one in Fort Rucker, Alabama. A beam was radiating from it, pointing SSW. The eye of the Hurricane rode right up this beam perfectly as if it were guiding the storm. If you ask me, that is precisely what these beams from these radars were doing. Heating and guiding this hurricane.
