A few days ago while walking to the Memorial Church in Kudamm where Bianka & I sometimes with others have been evangelizing, I noticed a feather on the sidewalk. Then as Bianka and were talking about the spiritual significance of feathers, I saw two more & I told her. Then she said, "Look, there's another one!" as we both saw a very small one floating down between us while we walked. We laughed with joy being reminded that wherever we go, the LORD IS WITH US and we can TRUST HIM TO PROTECT US - fear is so unnecessary! HALLELUJAH! Last night we went to the Teen Challenge cafe located in one of Berlin's oldest "red light" districts. We shared the love of Jesus with several prostitutes and drug addicts through prayer, music and preaching - the LORD ministered to us all! Now today, we are again going to Kudamm to evangelize. May the LORD open the ears of these people and lift the veil to they can received FREEDOM thro…

Today, I am going to tell you a story. It is not a pleasant story but an important story. All over the world everyday, innocent lives are being killed through all forms of abortion & I want to help STOP ABORTION. So, I am going to tell you about my PRO-CHOICE DECISION in hopes that you will be provoked to help stop abortion too.

First let me ask, who reading this message has been personally touched by abortion? Or maybe the question should be, who HASN'T been touched in some way by abortion? Whether you have had an abortion or if you drove your girl friend to the clinic, we all at least know someone who has had an abortion. This is not some minor surgical procedure that protects the health of the mother. No, this is outright murder of a human life and it is TOTALLY GRUESOME & inhumane however or whenever it is done.

I know, I had an abortion many years ago BEFORE the Roe vs. Wade court decision legalized abortion across Ameri…
"PRAYING FOR PEACE" by Ron Dicianni
"I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God's mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, for he wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message that God gave to the world at the proper time. (from 1 Timothy 2)
"So be careful how you live, not as fools but as those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days. Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, let the Holy Spirit fill and control you. Then you will sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making music to the Lord in your hearts. And you will always give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 5) Today, Bianka and I went down to Kudamm again and sat on the steps of the Memorial church. The LORD reminded us before we got there that He was our protection and we could rest in Him - HALLELUJAH! So we worshipped the LORD with guitar and talked to various people, mostly to the Goths who hang out there. Then 20-year-old Mike came up to me - we recognized each other from a Christian meeting in another …
Today, Bianka & I along with a few other friends went down to Kudamm in the rain on the steps by the Memorial Church to share Jesus & worship the LORD with guitar. First Bianka preached and then I. Afterwards, a Peruvian man came up and said that God had brought us & he offered microphones for us to use right then to preach more!!!! He and his music group are Christians. I had heard their music before - mostly instrumental - and had wanted to tell them that it sounded like worship - and I guess it was! So AMAZINGLY, Bianka & I took turns preaching & singing for a few hours I guess, planting LOTS of seeds, talking and praying with different ones. People stopped to listen, a few mocked and laughed, and even the satanists were there trying to distract us, but the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST WAS PROCLAIMED! Both Bianka and I were stunned at this huge open door as these Peruvian musicians invited us to return! Before we left, I noticed a man standing nearby, so…
I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the LORD; let all who are discouraged take heart. Come, let us tell of the LORD's greatness; let us exalt his name together. I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me, freeing me from all my fears. (from Psalm 34)
The book, "Enjoying God" by SJ Hill, will remind you that you're loved for who you are instead of what you do. It teaches that you were created for Someone rather than something. It will challenge you to unleash your passions to the divine Romancer - God Himself. It will move you out of your comfort zone! SJ was one of my teachers at Bible school in Pensacola and he recently spent the a few years in Kansas City with Mike Bickel at The International House of Prayer. (To read more and/or order this wonderful book, please go HERE)
I'd seen videos of him from when he spoke at BRSM Bible school in Pensacola some years ago, but tonight I not only heard him preach, but also got prayer from him. David Hogan and his team of missionaries have ministered to the Indians of Mexico for over 20 years about 75 miles southwest of Tampico. David was raised by his Southern Baptist family in Louisiana. His father was a pastor. The ministry has become known for some amazing miracles through the Holy Spirit including over 200 people being raised from the dead! David has a real heart for the Indians in Mexico and he lays down his life for them. When not in Mexico he ministers under a strong anointing for preaching and healing. His visit tonight was faith building and powerful! (more info here)
Berlin-Hellersdorf Youth
Yesterday, on the way home after ministering to the youth in Hellersdorf, I had an interesting encounter. While waiting for the bus, I saw a young girl begging for money and I noticed she was wearing a somewhat large cross, so I asked her if she believed in Jesus. She spoke pretty good English and said yes. So as my bus came and went, we chatted about her life and about Jesus. Sabine is 16 and her mother kicked her out of the house because she had a poster in her bedroom about Jesus and the cross! She doesn't go to school because she lives either on the streets or with her boyfriend, who she says also believes in Jesus. I was surprised when Sabine volunteerly told me that they don't have sex because she wants to wait until she is married! I was amazed to hear her as she spoke because she seemed to love Jesus so much! I prayed with her and offered to give her and her boy friend a Bible study at their place - we will see if they call. PLEASE BLESS S…
Jennie will celebrate her 24th birthday in a couple of weeks and at 6-foot-1, she is the standout pitcher for the U.S. Olympic softball team, throwing the ball 70 miles per hour! In college, she set an NCAA record by winning 60 straight games, but more importantly, Jennie says, "I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; He is my Lord and Savior. My faith has affected my career greatly. I would not be who I am today. God gave me this talent to use and He helps me daily to continue to pursue His will. He has blessed me with great parents, great friends, awesome teammates, so many great coaches, a great strength coach and so much more... I am here to be a role model for young girls and show them what really counts ... and that is what is on the inside... True happiness and contentment is not found in the things of this world, but in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ... Being rich in spirit!!!! I cant express that enough, its about living right and kn…
Today in an email, I was asked by a good friend if I had been coming under spiritual attack. I replied saying that I guessed so but that I am learning not to focus on that but rather on my Bridegroom King Who passionately loves me no matter what - HALLELUJAH!!! Yesterday while outside I noticed a little dragonfly come and sit on the fence near me. As I watched him, he turned his little head this way and that and I noticed the detail of his four translucent wings and his delicate body. (Earlier in the afternoon, some friends were talking about the bigness of space and the galaxies & how the LORD even knew the number of our hairs and that HE CARED.) So as I am looking at this little dragonfly, watching the wind blow his wings as he clings to the fence, resting, I prayed, "Lord, are You speaking to me through this?" Then I noticed on each of his beautiful wings, on the tip there was one tiny black dot. I thought how sweet that the LORD cared enough to add a l…
Why is Jesus crying?
Today, I just read a very disturbing news article about a mother of three who had an abortion, but then was shocked to find out the head of her unborn baby had been left inside her! She said, "At midnight, my ex-partner knocked on the door to check if I was all right. ... I went to the bathroom and as I was sitting there, I just felt something slip out of me as if I had just given birth. I looked in the toilet and saw this lump that seemed to have a bone in it. So I showed it to my former partner." The couple realized they were looking at the face of their unborn child, seeing the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. The tiny head measured no more than 4 centimeters. "We just broke down and cried at what we were seeing. We couldn't believe it," she sobbed to the paper. "I phoned an ambulance and they took me to the hospital to make sure that no other parts were left inside of me. They said I could have died if it had stayed inside m…

Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow.
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
These are the words of an old song written in 1876 by Robert Lowry but the words are timeless because they are the truth - HALLELUJAH!

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" "Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets." Then he asked them, "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you lock on earth will be locked in heaven, and whatever you open on earth will be opened in heaven." Then he sternly warned them not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. From then on Jesus began to tell his discipl…

"LET EVERTHING THAT LIVES SING PRAISES TO THE LORD! HALLELUJAH! Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And those who have reason to be thankful should continually sing praises to the Lord." from Psalm 150, Colossians 3, & James 5
This afternoon while walking by a small children's playground, I sensed the LORD wanted me to go in, sit down, and worship Him with my guitar. I was thinking, no, but I stopped, prayed and did it. So as I began to sing, some children came over and were happy to hear music, giggling. Then their mother (or grandmother?) came over and sat next to me, smiling. Also 3 teenage girls came near and listened, as well as some guys from Africa who were playing basketball. And a father and son were playing ping-pong in earshot as well. So, I sang prophetic songs, thanking Jesus for the freedom He gave me by dying on the cross and rising from the dead and so on - HALLELUJAH! Well, the woman who sat next…

DOES HE KNOW ME? by Oswald Chambers"He calls his own by name" — John 10:3
When I have sadly misunderstood Him? (see John 20:11-18 ). It is possible to know all about doctrine and still not know Jesus. A person’s soul is in grave danger when the knowledge of doctrine surpasses Jesus, avoiding intimate touch with Him. Why was Mary weeping? Doctrine meant no more to her than the grass under her feet. In fact, any Pharisee could have made a fool of Mary doctrinally, but one thing they could never ridicule was the fact that Jesus had cast seven demons out of her (see Luke 8:2 ); yet His blessings were nothing to her in comparison with knowing Jesus Himself. ". . . she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. . . . Jesus said to her, ’Mary!’ " ( John 20:14, 16 ). Once He called Mary by her name, she immediately knew that she had a personal history with the One who spoke. "She turned and said to Him, ’Rabboni!’ …

Category 4 Hurricane Charley hit Florida today (watch it here)
From Luke 8: One day Jesus said to his disciples, "Let's cross over to the other side of the lake." So they got into a boat and started out. On the way across, Jesus lay down for a nap, and while he was sleeping the wind began to rise. A fierce storm developed that threatened to swamp them, and they were in real danger. The disciples woke him up, shouting, "Master, Master, we're going to drown!" So Jesus rebuked the wind and the raging waves. The storm stopped and all was calm! Then he asked them, "Where is your faith?" And they were filled with awe and amazement. They said to one another, "Who is this man, that even the winds and waves obey him?"
The LORD is my shepherd
I have everything I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You welcome me as a guest, anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever." Psalm 23 by David
In John 10, Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will leave the sheep because they aren't his and he isn't their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. The hired hand runs away because he is merely hired a…
As I walked over the bridge, I saw the swan family swimming by and decided to catch up with them and take more pictures. The four babies were so big since the last time I saw them several weeks ago! Then continued along the Spree River, past by the Rathaus (city hall) Charlottenburg, and when I returned back to the bridge, the LORD blessed me with a beautiful sunset - DANKE JESUS!
Isaiah prophesied, "For to us a Child will be born. To us a Son will be given. And the rule of the nations will be on His shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Teacher, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to His rule and His peace, upon the throne of David and over his nation. He will build it to last and keep it strong with what is right and fair and good from that time and forever. The work of the Lord of All will do this." Many years later, Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus, "For Christ himself has made peace between us Jews and you Gentiles by making us all one people. He has broken down the wall of hostility that used to separate us. By his death he ended the whole system of Jewish law that excluded the Gentiles. His purpose was to make peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new person from the two groups. Together as one body, Christ reconciled both gr…
God loves you, little Hedgehog!
On the sixth day, GOD said, "Let the earth bring forth every kind of animal--livestock, small animals, and wildlife." And so it was. God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to reproduce more of its own kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, "Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life--the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the livestock, wild animals, and small animals." So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them. God blessed them and told them, "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it. Be masters over the fish and birds and all the animals." And God said, "Look! I have given you the seed-bearing plants throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. And I have given all the grasses and other green plants to the animals and birds for their…

Painting is only one area of creativity that the LORD is restoring to His church today. God is our Creator Who made us in His image and likeness, so we too, are creative! May nothing stop nor hinder the gifts and callings within each of us as we fulfill Jesus' command to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel." Elia; Jochum, Dorthea, Elia, Manfred; Roland, Sulamith, Nannie, Manfred
Today at the Glimm home church, little 3 day old Elia and 3 month old Sulamith were dedicated to the LORD. Elia is the German name for Elijah and he surprised everyone by being born at home 30 minutes BEFORE the midwife arrived! Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I assure you, anyone who doesn't have their kind of faith will never get into the Kingdom of God." Then he took the children into his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.
While walking along the Spree River here in Berlin yesterday, I came upon a big, beautiful weeping willow tree and was reminded of the promise as well as the warning of Psalm 1 written by David...
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers. But they delight in doing everything the LORD wants; day and night they think about his law. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper. But this is not true of the wicked. They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.
1 Chronicles 29:11
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.
Psalm 8:1
O LORD, our Lord, the majesty of your name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens.
Psalm 19:1
The heavens tell of the glory of God. The skies display his marvelous craftsmanship.
Psalm 57:5 & 11; Psalm 108:5
Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.
Psalm 97:6
The heavens declare his righteousness; every nation sees his glory.
Psalm 113:4
For the LORD is high above the nations; his glory is far greater than the heavens.
Corinthians 15:40
There are bodies in the heavens, and there are bodies on earth. The glory of the heavenly bodies is different from the beauty of the earthly bodies.
