"Is any thing too hard for the LORD?" Genesis 18:14

Currently, I'm re-reading Gensis in my secondhand King James Bible found at a thrift store years ago. It is inscribed on the front page with, "Happy Birthday to Betty from Aunt Elsie. December 19th, 1936."

Next year 2026, I will celebrate 50 years of being a Christian. I don't remember the exact day, but it was July 1976, the bicentennial year for the USA.

Over these many years, I have owned several Bibles of various versions but most of the modern ones either have changed or deleted verses. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher and He will reveal to us the Truth if we simply ask Him.

These days, when searching for a particular scripture, I often go online to Blue Letter Bible or if I want to hear the reading of the scripture, I go to Listen To The King James Bible recorded by Alexander Scourby. But there is something wonderful about holding a bible in your hands and reading preferably aloud the Word of God.

And now I'm reading in Genesis and the above verse, "Is any thing too hard for the LORD" I have underlined in red ink. I love this Truth which reminds me I don't have to worry!

When life looks glim or problems persist, we should read the Bible as we put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for a solution because He is faithful and NOTHING is too hard for the LORD!

A few photos I took yesterday here in Panama City Florida I hope brings a smile.
