THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH! Nehemiah 8:10
Yesterday, I returned from 3 days visiting the Teen Challenge facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which is a 7 hour drive from here. This is a residential Christian based discipleship program that helps those with life controlling problems. They evangelize people who have drug, alcohol, and other addictions by the power of Jesus Christ and the Lord may be opening up a ministry position for me there! Everyone I met was wonderful and the staff are so loving. The night before I left after sharing the story of how the Lord Jesus Christ set me free, we prayed for each other and then shared how the joy of the Lord is our strength - HALLELUJAH!

WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT (2 Cor 5:7)
This morning is is quite foggy outside and I am reminded of another foggy day when I lived just north of San Francisco several years ago. My drive to work in the fog on winding roads through the country was a bit challenging, however, it was then that the Lord spoke to my heart saying: "Even though it is foggy and you can not see very well at all, the sun is still shining brightly up in the sky above the fog. And so it is, in your journey in life when the path is difficult and not clear, remember that I am always with you and just a whisper away." May your foggy days days be filled with joy as you put your trust in God who promises to never leave you nor forsake you! His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6) Follow Him!

WHAT ARE YOU SEEKING?
The other morning as I looked out my bedroom window, I stood mesmerized as I watched hundreds of birds fly overhead. God speaks to us through the wonder of nature when we take the time to "listen" and this is what He reminded me: "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." Matthew 6:25-34

I HAVE SINNED
These are strong words, but when we are honest with God, there is forgiveness and freedom through the shed blood of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ!

Exodus 10:16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.

When I initially turned my life over to Jesus in 1976, I received not only forgiveness of sin but so much more - for example, now I am a child of God, I am an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb, I am more than a conqueror, I am loved, I am abounding in grace, and I have the mind of Christ! As I trust in the Lord with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, and in all my ways acknowlege Him, He promises to direct my paths - hallelujah! Paul wrote, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 2 Corinthians 2:9 May we each look to the Lord Jesus Christ for true peace and freedom!

After I finished ministry school, I went to Germany where I lived for over three years until this past June when I returned to America. Why? I believe this is what God wanted and now I am greatly concerned for this nation and for the church in general. Like I was, I think much of America is deceived/asleep/distracted/compromised/lost and tragically, on their way to hell. Most are too busy serving themselves rather than putting God first. I know it grieves the Holy Spirit because He desires a close relationship with each of us, but if we don't obey Him, we have no hope. These are critical days and time is short. We each need to turn to Jesus and turn away from our sin. Our heavenly Father loves us so much, but if we turn our backs on him, He will not welcome us into His heaven. America is still slaughtering 4,000 unborn children a day and if we don't stop this, we have no hope - we need to repent now because no one is promised tomorrow. Over the past several months, I have done a lot of research and have seen much evidence proving that there has been a government coverup regarding the events of 911. Even though I voted for Bush both times as well as his father, I now see that their actions have not matched their words and I now feel we have been deceived/betrayed. This was very hard for me to accept when my eyes were opened last spring and I "woke up". However, I now see how it all ties in with Bible prophecy and the return of the Lord. Not everyone wants to hear about any of this, but we need to wake up, like it or not, before it is too late! I believe what is most important is this:
Where will I spend eternity?
Is Jesus Christ Lord of my life or am I running the show?
Am I born again or am I playing games?
Is my name written in the Lamb's book of life or has He blotted it out?
Do we believe that God loves us so much that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life?
Did Jesus die on the cross and shed His blood for my sin?
Did he rise from the dead after three days?
Is He alive today and will He return for His bride, the church one day?
Am I praying and obeying the Word of God?
Am I ready to meet the Lord when I die?
If not, why not?
These are all important questions for each of us. So there you have my sermon for today! Comments?

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
Saved? From what? Saved from condemnation and death. This is why the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, came to the earth: too die for our sin so that we through faith can receive eternal life.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." (John 3:16-19)

Do you believe that Jesus died for you and then rose from the dead? Do you believe he is coming back again? Do you talk to him? Do you read his Word, the Bible and do you obey it?

Not one of us will make it to heaven on own merit, by being good person, nor by going to church. Not one of us is good enough. All of us have sinned and we each come short of the glory of God. Our sin separates us from this Holy God. In Titus 3, Paul wrote that it is, "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost, which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

And to my Roman Catholic friends, ex-Catholic evangelist, Mike Gendron, says: Many Catholics do not understand who Christ is because the official teachings of the Roman Catholic Church paints a different picture of Him than what is revealed in the Sacred Scriptures. Vatican Council II declares that we attain our own salvation and co-operate in saving our brothers through prayer and good works (p. 66, Vatican Council II Documents; Flannery). Was Christ merely "the gate opener" of heaven or was He the Savior? If we can attain our own salvation, then why did Christ have to die for us? Is Christ the only Mediator between God and man or does He share that role with Mary? According to VC II, when Mary was "taken up to heaven, she did not lay aside her saving office, but by her manifold intercession, continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation," (page 419). Is Jesus the only Way to the Father, or are Moslems, who reject the deity of Christ, part of God's plan of salvation as stated by VC II, (page 367). Is Christ and His Word the Truth or should we believe the Dogmas of the Catholic Church that nullify the sufficiency of His perfect sacrifice, His grace and His Word. Vatican II states, "In the supremely wise arrangement of God, sacred Tradition, sacred Scripture and the Magisterium of the Church are so connected and associated that one of them cannot stand without the other," (page 756)... The importance of believing who Christ is can best be summed up by the words of Christ Himself, "You will surely die in your sins unless you come to believe who I am," (John 8:24). (Mike's website)

INTERNET CENSORSHIP IN THE US: NO LONGER A PREDICTION by Wayne Madson
December 9, 2005 -- Internet censorship. It did not happen overnight but slowly came to America's shores from testing grounds in China and the Middle East. Progressive and investigative journalist web site administrators are beginning to talk to each other about it, e-mail users are beginning to understand why their e-mail is being disrupted by it, major search engines appear to be complying with it, and the low to equal signal-to-noise ratio of legitimate e-mail and spam appears to be perpetuated by it. In this case, “it,” is what privacy and computer experts have long warned about: massive censorship of the web on a nationwide and global scale. For many years, the web has been heavily censored in countries around the world. That censorship continues at this very moment.

Now it is happening right here in America. The agreement by the Congress to extend an enhanced Patriot Act for another four years will permit the political enforcers of the Bush administration, who use law enforcement as their proxies, to further clamp censorship controls on the web. The warning signs for the crackdown on the web have been with us for over a decade. The Clipper chip controversy of the 90s, John Poindexter’s Total Information Awareness (TIA) system pushed in the aftermath of 9-11, backroom deals between the Federal government and the Internet service industry, and the Patriot Act have ushered in a new era of Internet censorship, something just half a decade ago computer programmers averred was impossible given the nature of the web. They were wrong, dead wrong. Take for example of what recently occurred when two journalists were taking on the phone about a story that appeared on Google News. The story was about a Christian fundamentalist move in Congress to use U.S. military force in Sudan to end genocide in Darfur. The story appeared on the English Google News site in Qatar. But the very same Google News site when accessed simultaneously in Washington, DC failed to show the article. This censorship is accomplished by geolocation filtering: the restriction or modifying of web content based on the geographical region of the user. In addition to countries, such filtering can now be implemented for states, cities, and even individual IP addresses.

With reports in the Swedish newspaper Svensa Dagbladet today that the United States has transmitted a Homeland Security Department "no fly" list of 80,000 suspected terrorists to airport authorities around the world, it is not unreasonable that a "no [or restricted] surfing/emailing" list has been transmitted to Internet Service Providers around the world. The systematic disruptions of web sites and email strongly suggests that such a list exists.
News reports on CIA prisoner flights and secret prisons are disappearing from Google and other search engines like Alltheweb as fast as they appear. Here now, gone tomorrow is the name of the game. Google is systematically failing to list and link to articles that contain explosive information about the Bush administration, the war in Iraq, Al Qaeda, and U.S. political scandals. But Google is not alone in working closely to stifle Internet discourse. America On Line, Microsoft, Yahoo and others are slowly turning the Internet into an information superhighway dominated by barricades, toll booths, off-ramps that lead to dead ends, choke points, and security checks.

America On Line is the most egregious is stifling Internet freedom. A former AOL employee noted how AOL and other Internet Service Providers cooperate with the Bush administration in censoring email. The Patriot Act gave federal agencies the power to review information to the packet level and AOL was directed by agencies like the FBI to do more than sniff the subject line. The AOL term of service (TOS) has gradually been expanded to grant AOL virtually universal power regarding information. Many AOL users are likely unaware of the elastic clause, which says they will be bound by the current TOS and any TOS revisions which AOL may elect at any time in the future. Essentially, AOL users once agreed to allow the censorship and non-delivery of their email. Microsoft has similar requirements for Hotmail as do Yahoo and Google for their respective e-mail services. There are also many cases of Google’s search engine failing to list and link to certain information. According to a number of web site administrators who carry anti-Bush political content, this situation has become more pronounced in the last month. In addition, many web site administrators are reporting a dramatic drop-off in hits to their sites, according to their web statistic analyzers. Adding to their woes is the frequency at which spam viruses are being spoofed as coming from their web site addresses. Government disruption of the political side of the web can easily be hidden amid hyped mainstream news media reports of the latest "boutique" viruses and worms, reports that have more to do with the sales of anti-virus software and services than actual long-term disruption of banks, utilities, or airlines.
Internet Censorship in the US: No Longer a Prediction

Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, and Cisco Systems have honed their skills at Internet censorship for years in places like China, Jordan, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and other countries. They have learned well. They will be the last to admit they have imported their censorship skills into the United States at the behest of the Bush regime. Last year, the Bush-Cheney campaign blocked international access to its web site -- www.georgewbush.com -- for unspecified "security reasons." Only those in the Federal bureaucracy and the companies involved are in a position to know what deals have been made and how extensive Internet censorship has become. They owe full disclosure to their customers and their fellow citizens.

JESUS LOVE ME!
This morning I was reminded of a vision I had years ago during prayer: I was little and crawling on my hands and knees on the grass playing peak-a-boo with Jesus. We were laughing and having fun. Then he picked me up, looked into my eyes and said, "You thought you weren't wanted, but I always wanted you!"

Like me, Jesus wants you too and desires a close relationship - we simply need to turn to him. It is good to know that his mercies are new every morning, so on the way to work today, I began singing "Jesus loves me" and here are the words:

THE NEW PEARL HARBOR by David Ray Griffin
This books asks disturbing questions about the Bush Administration and 9/11. AMERICA'S LEADERS KNEW
Like it or not, the book "Day Of Deceit: The Truth About FDR and Pearl Harbor" by Robert Stinnett, who served in the U.S. Navy with distinction during World War II, examines and proves the tragic truth that our nation's leaders were fully aware that the Japanese army was going to attack Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Because of the brave men, like my father and uncles, who fought for America in World War II, because of them, not in spite of them, does the heartbreaking story of "Day of Deceit" need to be shouted from the housetops. The Old Testament prophet Isaiah lamented how there is no one so blind as him who refuses to see, and no oneso deaf as him who refuses to hear. The mountainous--and ever-mounting--pile of evidence that Roosevelt and the United States political leadership dragged our country into a war it had told them repeatedly it did not want is rendering the arguments of those who regurgitate the received history of America and "The Good War" increasingly untenable. And I pray that if ever my children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren are called upon to shoulder arms, the leaders of America will have the moral courage to tell them the truth of why they are doing it.

THE WORDS OF THE LORD
These are critical days for the church as the enemy of our souls wants to deceive us and lead us astray. I believe there is a famine in the land regarding hearing the words of the Lord. It is vitally important that we know the scriptures, listen for His voice, and obey the the Spirit of God in all things. The Lord Jesus Christ is coming again and we need to be ready, like the five wise virgins.

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again." Amos 8:11-14

May we have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
