ARE YOU A JEWEL OF THE LORD?
Malachi, the prophet who wrote the last book of the Old Testament, gives a sobering warning from the LORD which applies to us today. Why? Because there is sin in our churches - idoltry, sex outside of marriage, lying, mocking God, unbelief, etc. It is true that ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death. However, the GOOD NEWS is that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Overall, today like in Malachi's day, there is no fear of the Lord and the judgment of God is at our door - we need to repent before it's too late!

Our ONLY HOPE is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for our sin and rose again. God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The Son of God is our Creator and He is coming back, ready or not, for His bride. Is your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life? Are you one of His Jewels? If not, why not?

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved because whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Malachi writes, "Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not." Malachi 3:16-18
