Is Perry Stone a False Prophet?

Who is Perry Stone and what is he teaching?

I only recently heard of him and the more I read, the more I realize that Perry Stone is a false prophet and a wolf in sheep's clothing.
The fact that he teaches on TBN is a RED FLAG but worse than that, one of his mentors is a Jesuit priest!

The Lord Jesus Christ tells us, 'Let no man deceive you', so it is up to us to be on guard about false teachers and the like. If we are not reading the Scriptures (the King James version and not the corrupt modern versions) and obeying the Truth, we will be deceived.

Below are comments and then more info on Perry Stone for you to review and prayerfully consider.

May the Truth be revealed, may the lies be exposed, may the deceived wakeup, may the sinner repent, may the lost get saved and may the Lord Jesus Christ be glorified I pray!

"Paul gives endtime disciples the criteria to determine false from genuine:

· False teachers and false prophets have their minds set on earthly things, and earthly fulfillment of endtime prophecies.

· False teachers glory in their shame, transforming lawlessness into grace and keeping the precepts of the law into legalism.

· False teachers, false apostles, false prophets work for money and the acquisition of the things of this world; they work for their bellies, and they have appetites that are never satisfied.

Pause for a moment and look out over Christendom and see how many prophets or prophecy pundits have their minds set on earthly things and earthly fulfillments of prophecies about the endtime recovery of Israel from the North Country. Some of today’s false prophets - Perry Stone is a prime example - teach that the return of Russian Jews to the modern nation of Israel is the fulfillment of these prophecies. Others have even more fanciful teachings - the Armstrong splinters - claiming that the United States and Britain [all of the English speaking peoples] are endtime Israel and that these peoples will go into national captivity and will be recovered from this captivity when Christ Jesus returns... is it possible to have one’s mind set on earthly things to a greater extent than is the mind of the prophecy pundit who claims that the fulfillment of an endtime recovery of Israel requires that, first, a United Europe take captive the English speaking peoples? What book are these false pundits reading? Certainly not the Bible, which nowhere mentions Rome in conjunction with endtime events."

"I would call him a false prophet. He has not been accurate. He is also a false teacher.. see below. The meal does not heal.

Quote:
Paula White: "I believe that as you take communion that there is protection through that blood. Then the bible declares that the blood not only saves us, not only protects us, but it also provides for us. You said there's a couple that we know very dear that had a financial need."
Perry Stone: "Yes!"
Paula White: "And their father, a great pastor, pastor Scott told them God gave him a revelation."
Perry Stone: "Yes."
Paula White: "To take communion once a day."
Perry Stone: "He said, 'Take it everyday and as you're praying thank God for blessing you financially. Thank Him that that's part of the provision. They needed $50,000 and they got an amazing, remarkable $50,000 miracle, this couple did!"
Paula White... "Call that toll free number! We want you to get the 'Meal That Heals!'"

"... I used to really like Perry Stone, myself. However, you have to put your discernment cap on and be cautious. It seems that Perry, along with some other prophecy teachers, have grown fat by packaging their "special revelations and insights"; and you only learn of them by buying the books, magazines, videos or attending the conferences, etc. He is charismatic and believes in special revelations that are being given to him and his father-which many are not shared with the public until "after they come to pass". God reveals His plans to His servants for a reason, NOT to be kept secret and revealed AFTERWARDS. Who does that glorify-God or the "visionary".

It is very easy to get caught up in an intoxicating spiral of searching for "hidden knowledge" only revealed to a few. Perry is WOF and his associations with folks like the false prophetess Paula White a wolf that has infiltrated the church. She IS apostate, a must see video: http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=38918 This video SHOCKED me. What fellowship does light have with darkness, Perry needs to rebuke her and not associate with her because he gives her credence by associating and sharing a stage with her.

Recently, I bought "Teen You Can Serve God", a message by Perry. Upon listening and reviewing it first before sharing it with my son, it went way off track saying young people have to be "annointed", and talked about passing the annointing down through the generations, and other extra Biblical statements of his early experiences in camp meetings-I threw it in the trash.
Again...in these last days, we MUST use caution and discernment. There are many jewels and nuggets we can glean from scripture. The Bible IS built precept upon precept with layers we can peel back and learn from. It is exciting to re-learn our Jewish roots of our faith-but the danger is when there is an exaggerating of their finds, and then "charging to share the information".

If Perry really believed in "a meal that heals"-you certainly wouldn't have to buy his kit from him to benefit. If he really believed this and wanted people to be healed, he could show how a person can simply take communion in their home using wine and bread.

Again-I began getting very uncomfortable with some preachers I respected in their early days, when their ministry took on an image of money changers and selling of "blessings". There were too many extra Biblical revelations and exaggerations being made by many prophecy teachers today and it has become as addictive as drugs to many. They need more and more hidden knowledge and revelation and jump on every message that is made without using discernment and the Word to verify."

OCTOBER 21, 2011 UPDATE (ARTICLE UPDATED AUG 15, 2020)

https://www.truthsource.org/polemics/perry-stone/analysis

This article was originally published on 05/26/2011 and has been revised. Some of the links are broken and outdated.
Perry Stone is a fourth-generation "minister," and the director of Voice of Evangelism, whose purpose is to "reach the world with the Gospel of Christ through revivals, television, audio/video media, printed material and missionary sponsorship."1 He is a charismatic and teaches that the gift of tongues is the evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. His ministry subscribes to the statement of faith of the Church of God denomination, which states:
"We believe…in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost."2

Perry Stone Claims to be a Prophet

Perry Stone claims to receive visions from God, and that he has supposedly prophesied of various events accurately before they came to pass, a few of which include "Governor Bush becoming President; the 9-11 vision of the towers, and more recently the Oil Rig off the coast of Louisiana."3 He testifies that he receives such visitations from the Lord, Himself: "During every visitation I have at some point shared with you what I have seen, long before it came to pass, which gave credence that the word was from the Lord."4

"Sinner's Prayer" Gospel and Evangelism

Perry Stone propagates the "sinner's prayer" which, without dealing personally with souls, gives false hope and assurance to millions of readers. Under the "Contact Us" header on the VOE website was a link entitled, "How to be Saved," where readers are led through a prayer and at the end are promised, "Congratulations!…I welcome you as a new believer into God's family!"5 It is ironic that a ministry which claims to be a "voice of evangelism" actually embraces the very method of evangelism that is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, problems plaguing Christendom in America today. The sinner's prayer and its corresponding method of evangelism was never used by any of God's prophets, apostles, or disciples and is found nowhere in the Bible. It is a relatively recent development and has contributed to the false hope and assurance of millions who are led to believe they are saved and bound for heaven when in reality, they are merely deceived, not saved, and on their way to hell, never having been properly and biblically counseled about such matters.

Perry Stone Teaches Heresy

Perry Stone teaches that a person can receive physical healing and have their sins removed by taking communion. He even sold a "communion-kit" on his website6 and wrote a book entitled The Meal that Heals, in which he emphasizes the need and benefit of taking communion daily in order to be healed physically and have your sins removed. This is heresy:
"Through receiving daily communion, it is possible for a person to receive the three-fold atoning work that Jesus did on the cross. It includes: physical healing of the body; the healing, of course, of the human spirit, removing of sin and the iniquity that's in a person's life; but also the healing of the emotions and the soul and the mind. So, the atoning work of Jesus was body, soul, and spirit. And we talk about how that, by receiving the Lord's supper, you can actually receive healing in every area of your life." — Perry Stone7
"Perry believes this revelation of daily Communion has been lost in the traditional church, but is being revived in this final hour as the ultimate New Covenant weapon to attack sickness and bring healing in the lives of Christians! This is not just another message, but a life-changing spiritual revelation of God's healing covenant through the bread and the fruit of the vine." — VOE overview of Perry's book The Meal that Heals8
This teaching is foreign and contrary to Scripture. This concept of a "three-fold atoning work of Christ" is found nowhere in Scripture. Mankind's fundamental problem—and one affecting eternity—is sin, not physical sickness or disease. The Bible declares that Christ's work on the cross atoned for our sins, that it was the means through which the Son of God took upon Himself the sins of His people in order to receive, on their behalf, the due punishment under which He was crushed by God's wrath and justice (Isaiah 53:10-12). The cleansing and healing which the atonement accomplishes is exclusively of a spiritual nature, corresponding with the washing and healing from sin, whether we ever get healed physically at all or not (consider Lazarus in Luke 16:20-22).
Perry's teaching on communion is more in tune with Roman Catholicism than anything else. God's people are cleansed solely "by His wounds" (1 Peter 2:4), not by any act or performance on our part; and they are declared righteous before God by faith alone, apart from works (Romans 3:28). Perry's teaching that sin can be removed through partaking of communion is actually legalism, a works-based religion. If our sins can be removed by participating in communion or anything else, then Christ died in vain (Galatians 2:21).

Perry Stone Embraces Necromancy

Both Perry Stone and his father, Perry Fred Stone, Sr. (1933–2011), embrace necromancy. On one of the episodes of Perry Stone's "Manna-fest" television program, Supernatural Encounters in the Last Days, his father discussed how the spirit of Al Collins, one of his friends who had died, visited him and told him that he was sent by God to tell him that God had called him to preach. Fred Stone discussed how he was caught up "out in the universe somewhere," where he saw "beautiful sapphire blue" and "a ball of light and fire" out of which the spirit of Al Collins met him. Fred also discussed how he was, like the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:3, caught up into heaven, where he opened one of the many giant books which he saw, entitled, The Mighty Acts and Words of Jesus. The transcript for this interview is provided below.
These claims are egregiously unbiblical. The apostle Paul was not permitted to describe his heavenly visitation (2 Corinthians 12:4), yet Fred and Perry Stone were free to provide a detailed description on television. So either Fred Stone was greater than Paul, or a fraud. Furthermore, God has explicitly forbidden any participation in necromancy—communicating with the dead or with the spirit world—and has declared it to be an abomination (Deuteronomy 18:10-12; Leviticus 19:31). By his own confession, necromancy is the foundation of Fred Stone's call to preach, which would make his subsequent ministry an abomination. By this we can be certain that this man was never called by God. And since Perry Stone publicly endorsed this ministry, he shares in the sin and guilt of his father (1 Timothy 5:22; 2 John 1:10-11).

Transcript: Perry Stone and Necromancy

Perry Stone: What happened when you were called to preach, now? I want to go to that.
Fred Stone: When I was there, this little cabin, Perry, that me and my dad had built. Dad had helped me in West Virginia, up in a lease area, out in Creek Cold company. And I was up there praying and seeking the face of God. And Al Collins, while I was praying, I heard footsteps; it was in the fall and there was leaves about four, five, six inches high. And I heard two or three steps behind the cabin—I'm sitting just like I am now. And I turned and looked around and bent my head like this, and before I could see anybody, a hand reached through—the right hand of a man—reached through the side of the cabin and touched me on the head. I thought it was an angel of the Lord; but actually, the spirit man of Al Collins had touched me, you know what I mean? And spoke to me about what God wanted me to know, and that the Lord wanted me to know this and that and the other. And, of course, I was so overcome by the Spirit that it probably took me an hour after this experience for it to just kind of wear off. You know, Perry, supernatural experiences with God usually stay with people forever. They stay with you all your life. Now, they're not as fresh, and they're not as great upon your spirit man as they were for the first two or three years or something; but they'll be there forever.
Perry Stone: I remember when you told me—I mean, I've heard you tell that, actually, for years about how that you actually, when that hand touched you, you collapsed and thought you had a heart attack and came out of your body. Paul talked about in 2 Corinthians 12, "…whether in the body or out of the body, I cannot tell, God knows, such a one was caught up into the third heaven…" And so, there are experiences where it's either a vision, or it actually is happening. And you went out, like, being sucked out into the universe somewhere, where you ended up, where it was a beautiful sapphire blue, and you described what happened there. You said that you saw a ball of light that looked like the size of a silver dollar, is that right? And Al stepped out of that, and pointed his finger at you, right?
Fred: It was moving, Perry, it was so far in the universe I couldn't estimate how far it was. And it was moving with the speed of a, it was like a lightning bolt. It was coming toward me so fast. But when it got from the size of my fist to the size of a person, but it was a ball of fire—a ball of light would be better, light and fire. And when it got so far from me, it just stopped moving, and the light just vanished and there stood Al Collins.
Perry: And this is the friend that had passed away?
Fred: Yeah, that's correct.
Perry: You're out in the universe somewhere, though? I mean, way out, on the edge of eternity…
Fred: And when he put his right hand out toward me, God let him speak to me.
Perry: And he said what?
Fred: And he didn't waste any time, Perry. See, I wanted to ask him questions. What it was like, Al, what was it like to die? What was this and that? That's what was on my mind, because we were these good friends. But I wasn't permitted to do that. He looked me and put his hand out and he said, "Fred, God has sent me, God has sent me to tell you…" Excuse me, Perry. "…God has sent me to tell you that you're called to preach. He's called you to preach. And you must preach, you must go and you must preach and you must obey me." And when he said that, the power of God came on me, Perry, and I couldn't answer him. I couldn't do nothing, I just trembled. I just shook under the power of God.
Perry: And then, but you came back to yourself in that cabin.
Fred: And one time he started to leave, and then something stopped him, and he told me he wasn't finished. And he turned around and said it the second time, said the same thing.
Perry: Wow.
Fred: That let me know it was Al Collins. It was the soul of Al Collins.
Perry: Now, you had an experience, too, where you went, you saw into heaven, and you saw books in heaven, and that actually had photographs in them, or what looked like photographs, of the ministry of Jesus. Do you remember, can you remember that? So tell what happened though, that's what's interesting.
Fred: Perry, I walked into this, I was praying and just carried out in the spirit, and I walked in…
Perry: Now explain that for people that don't understand. When you say, "carried out," what happens?
Fred: Well, the Holy Ghost just come on me so great, the Spirit of God moves on you so great, that He can do what He wants to do. He can show you anything He wants to show you. So while in the spirit man, I was on my knees in prayer, but in the spirit, my inner man walked into this great library.
Perry: Literally, you saw this?
Fred: Yeah, into this great library. And, Perry, it had books the size, the width of them was about like this, they were about this high.
Perry: Was it about three, three and a half, three feet, maybe? Three feet?
Fred: Yeah, three feet, they were. And one of them was called, "The Mighty Acts and Words of Jesus." And then there was another book there about Jesus, but I felt led to look at "The Mighty Acts and Words of Jesus." So I pulled it out, laid it in this table, it was a table with just, the most beautiful glistening white cover. And I laid it down, and when I opened the book, on the page it said, I opened the title page and it said, "The Mighty Acts and Words of Jesus." And I thought, "Well, I've never seen that book." So I started opening it up, and as I did, there was great pages of His preaching.
Perry: So, you could read it, and see it?
Fred: Oh, yeah, yeah.
Perry: So, what do you think it was, Dad? Do you think it was the Holy Spirit, while Jesus was on earth, actually captured, somehow, for people to see one day, everything that He did?
Fred: Well, you know, look what John said, he said, "There are many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself…" John 21.
Perry: Wow. Right. So what did you see?
Fred: Oh, it was like, the Sermon on the Mount; instead of just Matthew 5, 6, 7, it was other preaching that He did, that was with that.
Perry: Wow. Now, in other words, when the Bible says, "Every word man gives an account of on that day," He literally has words, apparently, in books or something…
Fred: So the Holy Ghost put in the Bible what He wanted us to actually see and read of the words of Jesus. But Perry, there are, there could be millions of words of Christ and sermons of His. Just like with yourself, there's been times when you'd start preaching in your meetings, that I would marvel because I knew what you were saying was not all notes. You weren't quoting from notes. And I believe, Perry, that that's where alot of preachers get so inspired today, that God just pulls some of the preaching of Jesus that's not in the books of the New Testament and just puts it in their mouth, and they preach it, and people are saying, "Where in the world did that come from? I never heard that before."

Perry Stone Teaches Satan's Lie

Perry Stone in the early part of his Manna-Fest Program # 354 Journey to the Underworld Series Pt. 5 "More Secrets of Paradise " - (Direct Download) cites the Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 to prove the dead are not really dead, they are in heaven with Jesus, and will return with Jesus at the rapture. Let's examine what Paul is really teaching.
1 Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
What does Paul mean by "others which have no hope"? This is an important point I will let Paul explain:
1 Cor 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
1 Cor 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
1 Cor 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
1 Cor 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
1 Cor 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1 Cor 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
1 Cor 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
1 Cor 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
You see, there were some who did not believe in the resurrection from the dead (see also Matt. 22:23, Mark 12:18, Acts 23:8), they believed that the dead were perished forever, that they were not in heaven in spirit form, they were dead. Those who believed this are the "others which have no hope" in 1 Thess 4:13. They believed the dead were eternally lost. This notion sets the context that Paul gives for 1 Thess 4:14-18.
1 Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
Now, in what sense does Jesus also "bring" the dead with Him? Well, Paul is explaining to his audience that when Jesus returns, the dead will not remain dead in the grave as they suppose, they will, in fact, be resurrected to join the living:
1 Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1 Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
The same kind of language is found in Hebrews and Ezekiel:
Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Ezek 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
Ezek 37:13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
Therefore, this is how verse 14 should be understood:
1 Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him [up out of the grave, from the dead].
So Paul is dispelling the notion that some had that the dead could not be saved, because they denied the possibility of resurrection. By teaching there will be a resurrection from the dead, because Jesus was resurrected, Paul was comforting his audience, so that they could comfort each other about the blessed hope of resurrection from the dead.
And just where exactly will the saints be with the Lord after the resurrection?
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am [the Father's house], there ye may be also.John 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.John 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we [Jesus and His bride, the church] will come unto him [the Father], and make our abode with him [in the Father's house].
John says that the Father's house is where Jesus will take the saints at the second coming. So Paul in 1 Thess 4:14 is NOT saying that Jesus brings the souls of dead saints from heaven back to earth at His return, rather he is telling those who doubt the resurrection, that Jesus will surely resurrect the dead and bring them and the living righteous with Him to the Father's house, the New Jerusalem. So after the resurrection, then they will ever be with the Lord.
Perry Stone's teaching that the dead are not really dead is actually repeating Satan's lie in the garden of Eden:
Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Perry Stone - The Rapture and Firstfruits

Perry Stone in his Manna-Fest Program # 356 Rapture & Law of First Fruits Series Pt. 2- "Controversy About the Rapture" - (Direct Download) teaches that the yet future secret rapture is to be equated with the firstfruits of the harvest, followed later by the main harvest (Rev 14), and then the gleaning of the four corners of the field, which represents the Jewish remnant. Scripture clearly contradicts this teaching. Note the following:
1 Cor 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1 Cor 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
1 Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1 Cor 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
1 Cor 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
The firstfruits of the resurrection is specifically identified to be Christ Himself, nearly 2000 years ago, in verses 20 and 23. Then, as verse 23 makes plain, at His second coming the whole of the righteous dead in Christ are resurrected. There is no future secret rapture of saints taught in this passage that precedes the second coming.
Now note the following description of Passover, 14,15 and 16 Nisan:
Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month [Nisan] at even is the Lord's passover.
Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
Lev 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein [15 Nisan to be a sabbath].
Lev 23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Lev 23:9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Lev 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath [16 Nisan] the priest shall wave it.
  • On 14 Nisan Jesus was crucified and buried.
  • On 15 Nisan, a sabbath day, Jesus rested in the tomb.
  • On 16 Nisan (firstfruits) Jesus was resurrected, and Paul calls Him the firstfruits:1 Cor 15:20, 23.
Interestingly enough, note what happened after the crucifixion of Christ:
Mat 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
Mat 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
The graves of a select group of saints were opened when Christ died on 14 Nisan. This corresponds to the selection of the firstfruits of the barley harvest, the first to be harvested. However those saints were not resurrected until after Christ Himself was raised early on 16 Nisan, the day the firstfruits sheaf was waved by the priest. The saints raised from the dead on 16 Nisan comprised the harvested firstfruits sheaf, waved triumphantly in victory over the grave by Jesus our High Priest.

So, the firstfruits of the resurrection harvest happened on 16 Nisan nearly two thousand years ago with Christ's resurrection. It is not an event that awaits a future fulfillment.

In his Manna-Fest Program # 358, Rapture & Law of First Fruits Series Pt. 4- "Harvest, First Fruits, Rain and the Rapture" - (Direct Download), Perry refers to the Hebrew marriage customs, and briefly mentions that the groom builds a chamber in his father's house. When it is completed and the time is right, the groom, a symbol of Christ, escorts his bride, a symbol for the church, from her house to the father of the groom's house, symbolic of the New Jerusalem, in heaven, to the chamber He has prepared.
Take note that there is only one wedding feast, for the entire bride of Christ, and those who are not prepared when the groom comes for His bride will be locked out, as the parable of the ten virgins demonstrates (Matt 25:1-13). There is no second chance to be included in the wedding feast.
So, as John 14:1-6 states, Jesus is preparing a place (for His bride) in His Father's house. And when He returns, He will escort His bride to the marriage feast, which will not be held at the bride's house (earth), but at God the Father's house, New Jerusalem in heaven, where the preparations have been made. This is where the righteous spend the millennium, in heaven, not on earth:
Rev 20:4 ... and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Perry also briefly mentions the parable of the wheat and the tares (Matt 13:24-30, 36-43). Note that according to the parable, the tares (the wicked), are gathered first and burned. The wheat (the righteous) are not harvested first, leaving behind the lost unbelievers to wonder what happened, as the secret rapture proponents teach. The parable teaches clearly that the wicked are all slain at the second coming, there will not be one of the wicked left alive:
Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

"Ten Most Wanted"

False Teachers In America and
Other False Teachers

Here is a list of the "Ten Most Wanted" religious false teachers in America today. These men and all the men and women listed on this poster are wanted by all SPIRIT controlled believers (Eph. 5.18). When these false teachers and false prophets are apprehended they will be tried in a spiritual court of law
(I Cor. 6.2), and when found guilty they will be punished according to the Scriptures (Rom. 16.17; I Tim. 3.5,6; 2 Tim. 2.25,26; Tit. 1.9-16; 3.10,11).

and
False Prophets

2. Pat Robertson
3. Rick Warren
4. ChuckSmith
5. Benny Hinn
6. Jerry Falwell
7. Oral Roberts
8. James Swaggart
9. Billy Graham
10. Hal Lindsey

Now that you know the truth, if you continue to support these and other 501c3 CEOs you are part of the problem and will have great loss of reward (I Cor. 3.15).
If you have given any of YAHWEH'S money to any religious radio or TV CEO you must stop now! They do Not want to obye God and His Principle of NOT bowing down and worshipping the beast system and the minions of the devil (
2 Cor. 11:12-15). Many of the religious CEOs in America are NOT born from above. They are servants of the devil! Satanics Gnostics Criminals

7. Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.
8. Yet in the same way these men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile angelic majesties.
9. But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
10. But these men revile the things which they do not understand; and the things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed.
11. Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain, and for pay they have rushed headlong into the error of Balaam, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.
12. These are the men who are hidden reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted;
13. wild waves of the sea, casting up their own shame like foam; wandering stars, for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever.
Jude 7-13 - NASB

13. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
14. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
15. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 - NASB

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.

2 Peter 2:1 - NASB
Mark these apostate heretics, expose them, and separate from them.....
Bill Bright, Jack T. Chick, Paul Crouch,Benny Hinn, Bill Gothard, Bill Hybels, Billy Graham, Jack Van Impe, C.S. Sproul, Robert Schuller, Tim LaHaye, Tony Campolo, Max Lucado, Robert Tilton, Rex Humbard, William Branham, Pope John Paul II & all his horde of demonic idolators.

Tim LaHaye has been dropped from this list due to the fact that his movie "Left Behind" series of fantasy books is completed and his new series is a total flop - reflects just the halft of the Bible Teachings - will be considered not for serious teaching, it's good for teenagers, or childs, or people that never has been exposed to Christianity, or belong to other religious or do not have any religion, this will be a Ice-Breaking movie, as the same as The Passion of The Christ from Mel Gibson, was not Intended for serious God Seekers, and teaches Heresy in a Subliminal Form - Satanic - We never are going to know the real intention of the Producers and Directors. He will not negatively impact the Christian world with his nonsense again. Yet his book series will continue to influence apostate Christians and ignorant ones.

John Wimber has gone to his just punishment and can no longer be listed among the Ten Most Wanted false teachers in America. He was ranked number 6, but now takes his place among the most dangerous false teachers of the 20th & 19th Centuries -- along side Herbert W. Armstrong, Alice Bailey, Madame Blavatsky, Mary Baker Eddy, Maria Woodworth-Etter, Fred Franz, Nathan Knorr, Kathryn Kuhlman, Amy Simple McPherson, Norman Vincent Peale, Charles Taze Russell, Joseph Rutherford, Bishop Sheen, Joseph Smith, Paul Tillich, Joe Tkach Sr., Ellen White, Brigham Young and all Mormon "prophets." (No Mormon was or is a true "prophet." They are all false prophets who are burning in Hell or be accurate "on their way there".)

Other dangerous false teachers who are leading millions of people astray are:

Most pentecostal/charismatic and virtually all Calvary Chapel and all Vineyard 501c3 CEOs (pastors), Joe Aldrich, Ernest Agley, Garner Ted Armstrong, Jon Arnot, John Avanzini, Ted Baehr, Jerry Barnard, Jonathan Bell, Rodney Browne, Joe Callaway, Harold Camping, Tony Campolo, Randy Clark, Ron Cohen, Ken Copeland, John Dawson, Ed Dobson, Crefflo A. Dollar, Jesse Duplantis, Mike Farris, Mark Finley, Jentezen Franklin, Joe Garlington, W.V. Grant, John Hagee, Kenny Hagin, Hendrick "Hank" Hanegraaff, Jack Hayford, Michael Horner, Bobby Jones, Ike, Larry Huch, T.D. Jakes, John Kilpatrick, Bob Larson, Zola Levitt, Billy Locklear, Eddie Long, Gordon MacDonald, Gerald Mann, Clarence McClendon, Paul Morton, Steve Muncie, Myles Munro, Mario Murillo, Arnold Murray, John Osteen, Luis Palau, Rod Parsley, Gilbert E. Trotter, Ralph Wilkerson, Rich Wilkerson and Phil Wogoman (Sick Willie's religious CEO).

The following men propagate false doctrines concerning eschatology.

Most of the other doctrines they teach are Scriptural except for Harold Camping who preaches a false Gospel and some Watchtower doctrines and Arnold Murray who teaches the most bizarre false doctrines I have ever heard. He is Mr. One Verse Charlie, Mr. Revolving Rev., and Mr. Rachet Jaw.

All amillennial, preterist, and covenant and dominion theology 501c3 CEOs and teachers, John Ankerberg, Sherlock Bally, Dave Breese, Tal Brooke, Ray Brubaker, Robert F. Campbell, Harold Camping, Tony Campolo, Charles Capps, David Chilton, J.R. Church, John Cionci, Reginald Dunlop Jr., Robert H. Gundry, John Hagee, David Hocking, Noah Hutchings, Thomas Ice, Jack van Impe, Grant Jeffrey, Bob Jones III, Robert van Kampen (deceased), D.J. Kennedy, Salem Kirban, Paul & Peter LeLonde, C.S. Lovett, Dave McPherson, Chuck Missler, Arnold Murray, John Noe, Gary North, Scott Pearson, Alex Reese, Marv Rosenthal, R.J. Rushdoony, Charles Ryrie, Chuck Smith, Don Stewart, Perry Stone, Lester Sumrall, Randall Terry, Joe Van Koevering, John Walvoord, Larry Wilson and Woody Young.

The following are into "Christian" psychology which is an abomination. They mix Freudian psychobabble with Scripture to come up with total nonsense. James Dobson and Clyde Narramoore. The following is into non-Biblical apologetics. Greg Kokel.

These men are ecumenicalists.

Bill Bright, Paul Crouch, Billy Graham, Frankie Graham, Jack van Impe, Hal Lindsey and Ralph Woodrow.

All females teachers are false teachers for the Scriptures makes it explicitly clear they are not to teach men (I Cor. 14.34,35; I Tim. 2.9-15).

Some of the worst false teachers are Joyce Meyer, Ken Copeland's wife, Marilyn Hickey, Betty Robinson, Beverly LaHaye, Arlene & C. Courtney Henderson, Karen Wheaton, Christie Harvey and Gail Riplinger. (Gail made the list due to her rabid attack on true believers who understand the King James translation is just that and nothing more.)

Virtually all men who call themselves "pastors" are not true Biblical "bishops." They are chief executive officers (CEOs) of religious 501c3 corporations. They have unequally yoked themselves with the federal and state governments in direct violation of the Scriptures 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 ( King James Version ) They are NOT qualified to be true Biblical bishops and they cannot be referred to as such. All 501c3 CEOs are backslidden and or apostate or NOT born from above!

You must avoid them at ALL costs! If you have given them YAHWEH'S money you have sinned! Stop giving them YAHWEH'S money and find a true Biblical bishop who not only refuses to bow down and worship the state by being the CEO of a 501c3 corporation, but also teaches straight Biblical doctrine and speaks out against the myriad false teachers and prophets that plague America.

Now that you know the truth, if you continue to support these and other 501c3 CEOs you are part of the problem and will have great loss of reward (I Cor. 3.15).
If you have given any of YAHWEH'S money to any religious radio or TV CEO you must stop now! If the fellowship that you are part of is a 501c3 religious corporation confront the CEOs with the truth and if they do NOT terminate the corporation and act according to the Scriptures find a local assembly where the bishops understand the importance of NOT bowing down and worshipping the beast system and the minions of the devil (2 Cor. 11:12-15). Many of the religious CEOs in America are NOT born from above. They are servants of the devil!

MARCH 5, 2012 UPDATE

Received this email & link today for a concerned reader. My comment? Once a charlatan, always a charlatan.

I was aghast at this page on Perry Stone's Website. Thought you might want to comment it on it. I did but somehow it didn't get posted. I probably did something wrong when I signed up. Its just wrong of him to do this and lead all these people who earnestly need guidance to be led astray by this kind of blasphemy. For his own sake too. I believe he thinks he's doing God's bidding somehow . Sometimes we can't see something that others can. I feel if I keep quite about it . It somehow makes me guilty too. If you see something and don't tell the person then its on you, but if you see and don't say anything then its on you.

Since I can't warn people I hope you can put it on your blog.

Quick Overview

This holy anointing oil was made exclusively by My Olive Tree with oil that was harvested from Perry Stone’s olive tree grove in Israel. It is made in accordance with Exodus 30. This special oil is very thick in consistency due to the high concentrate of spices in the mixture. Shake well to mix before using the oil.

DETAILS ON THE KING’S OIL- PERRY STONE
Our ministry recently joined with the House of David, a Messianic Jewish group led by Rabbi Curt Landry, to adopt a large olive grove in the Galilee region of Israel. This is in order to help preserve the precious olive trees, provide work for Jewish people in Israel, and use oil from the grove to produce special anointing oil based upon the Biblical patterns found in Exodus.
Some people have been concerned that we are disobeying the Word of the Lord about reproducing the oil, based on Exodus 30:25-33, which teaches this oil is not to be duplicated, poured on the flesh, and not to be put on a stranger – only the priests. First, olive oil was used in the process of anointing both priests and kings under the Old Covenant. We read that Aaron and his sons were anointed with this special oil (Exod. 30:31), and Saul, David and Solomon were all anointed with some form of oil as a sign of God separating them to be kings over Israel (I Sam. 15:1; 16:12; I Kings 1:34). We must understand the purpose of God’s instruction in Exodus 30 as it relates to not duplicating the oil, the setting, and the narrative of the Exodus and ancient Israel. As Israel journeyed through the wilderness, there were several times when the people rose up against Moses and Aaron. On one occasion, a man named Korah, a descendent from the tribe of Levi (the priestly tribe), made an attempt with 250 princes to overthrow Moses and Aaron, accusing Moses and Aaron of pride in their “holiness” (Num 16:1-3). In a spiritual challenge, Korah and 250 leaders were instructed to bring their own censers and placed incense in their censor, while Moses and Aaron took their incense from the sacred incense at the tabernacle. Korah and his rebellious men were all slain (Numbers 16). Since only a true High Priest or his son could offer incense, Korah was judged for offering the incense.
On another occasion, two sons of Aaron were slain for offering “strange fire,” or fire that did not come from the altar of God (Lev. 10:1). Afterward, God confirmed Aaron’s priesthood before all of the people when Aaron’s rod began blossoming and producing almonds at the door of the tabernacle (Numbers 17). The incense was to be set apart for the TRUE priesthood and not to be replicated, as there was a danger that a rebel like Korah, who wanted to replace the true priests, could duplicate the holy oils, incense, and other items and use them in the wrong manner. God only honored true priests and the holy incense. After this incident, the Lord commanded that the anointing oil be set aside for the priests and was not to be duplicated. But what was the reason for this instruction? So a future rebel would not duplicate it and announce he was the true priest by anointing himself with the sacred oil.
When David’s son, Absalom, attempted to seize his father’s throne, Absalom rode on the king’s mule (II Sam. 19:9; I Kings 1:38; 1:44). The king’s mule was set aside for the king. Absalom knew if he was spotted on his father’s mule it would appear to the multitudes that he was now the king of Israel. If an insurrection arose against a future priest in Israel, then the oil, incense, and other elements of the apothecary could be used and the rebels could announce they were the “true priesthood.” God was not protecting the oil, but was actually protecting His priesthood from an internal or external rebellion. When we read the Torah and read certain laws and restrictions, we must remember that Christ is the fulfillment of the law. For example, the law commands that a male child be circumcised on the eighth day or he is not in covenant with God and will be cut off from among his people (Gen. 17:14). However, in the New Testament circumcision was not a sign of the New Covenant, despite the fact that many Jewish believers argued to the contrary, and taught Gentiles must be circumcised. Jews continued to be circumcised but Gentiles were not under the same obligation (Rom. 2:25-28). New Testament circumcision was of the heart and spirit and not the flesh (Rom. 25:29). Does this make Paul a heretic or a false prophet just because he changed the “law of Moses” concerning circumcision? Why weren’t the New Testament Gentiles “cut off” the way the Lord warned a man would be if he was not circumcised? Why did God graft the Gentiles in if they were being disobedient to the commandment of circumcision? The only obligation the Gentiles had to keep was to “abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well” (Acts 15:19). Even the Gentiles eventually met for worship on the first day of the week, the day in which Christ was raised from the dead (Acts 20:7; I Cor. 16:2).
Now back to the anointing oil. We are told in James 5 that if a believer is sick, we are to “anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord” (James 5:14-15). We assume this is just normal olive oil which was common in the Mediterranean in that day. When a Jewish Rabbi and believer and his son (a Jewish chemist) received the insight to mix the compounds of Scripture with pure olive oil, some suggest this is wrong. However, the oil was for priests. Notice what the Bible teaches about believers: “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever” (Rev. 1:6). The Greek can read a “kingdom of priests.” Under the Old Covenant no common person could slay a sacrifice, sprinkle blood on the altar, and enter the holy place to offer incense, light the Menorah or be anointed with the oil. However, as a kingdom of priests we now offer our sacrifices of praise (Heb. 13:15), we are able to apply the blood of Christ through our confession (Rev. 12:11), and enter the presence of God through the words of our prayer. The incense on the golden altar represented our prayers going up to God (Psalms 141:2). It is our spiritual position as priests unto God that enables a Jewish believer to prepare this oil and have other believers use it for the purpose of anointing a person! The actual anointing of the Spirit abides in us now (I John 2:27). Under the Old Covenant only a priest could enter certain areas of the Temple. Today our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit (I Cor. 3:16). There is a restitution of all things predicted prior to the return of the Lord (Acts 3:21). We have witnessed the restoration of Israel, Jerusalem as the capital, and return of the Jews from the nations.
We have witnessed the revival of teaching on receiving daily communion the way it was received in the first century. Early church history points out that women (deaconesses) were heavily involved in the ministries of the congregation, and women of God are being restored to ministry in this season. Likewise, the oil of anointing is being restored in these days, as a part of the restitution of all things.

Greetings in Christ Jesus. I firmly believe that Perry Stone is a wolf in sheep's clothing. There are many reasons as to why I make such a statement and in your article you noted a few. For all who follow him I would cry unto you to flee from him and destroy any materials you have from him. Yes, there may be a nugget here and there, but that is always the bait that Satan uses to ensnare the saints. He is no fool and knows he has to give us something of perceived worth so that we open the door wide for all of the blatant heresy that follows.

Personally, I use to be an ardent follower of Perry. Ordered his many materials, listened to his sermons, went to Manna Fest in Tenn, sent him many donations, and even considered moving to his area and seeing if I could work for their "ministry." I was SO hooked on the "nuggets" that Mr. Stone seems to take great joy in being the only one who can uncover (gnosticism). All available to any and all assuming they are willing to fork over an endless stream of more money and love offerings.

And this people do because there is always another MUST have teaching hot off the press. Just look at his website - it is covered with offers to fleece the flock just as all TBN disciples are so apt to do. An absolute STENCH in the LORD's nostrils.

But NONE of this is Christ Jesus or sound doctrine, but rather sour milk for those who have itching ears for the new thing packaged as some special revelation (I testify this in my own life). It is all smoke and mirrors though and will not lead you to Christ but rather to another gospel and another "jesus."

sad to read of such distress among the brethern. No wonder why so many are leaving the faith and turning to other deities (islam, hundu, atheism, etc). We should be praying and not filling the air with such poison - you can really feel the bitterness with-in these printed words!

Cathy Palmer said...

Bill, would you prefer we not warn others about false prophets and watch them be deceived, possibly ending up in hell?

I was deceived (maybe still am but praying not) and am EXTREMELY thankful for discerners who raise red flags.

Not sure what to make of your comment.

The leppers cried out to Jesus and said "Master, heal us" he told them to get up and go show yourself to the sarducees. And as they went they were healed. "AS THEY WENT" If they didn't believe they wouldn't have went or they wouldn't have been healed. So if a person wants to believe let them believe. It's the first step to healing. If YOU don't beleive you will not be saved. how many people are you reaching without being on T.V.? How much would it cost to send that message to as many people as he does. Your crown, brother Michael, won't have as many jewels as Perrys I'm sure.

Hi

Having seen Perry Stone's traveling side shows and heard the utter corruption and bastardization he does of all things Jewish and Christian, I thought I should also throw my two cents into the mix

First of all, Perry stone is not a prophet. It's a vile insult to the true prophets of old. Prophesy ended with the closing of the Jewish Canon and with the end of the Prophets, Malachi. In addition, as far as the "Jewish roots" of Perry's messages, they're as Jewish and as kosher as eating a ham sandwich while acclaiming devotion to the gods of egypt while killing your brother. All Perry uses are "jewish props". NOTHING he says is verified or confirmed by any AUTHENTIC Jewish sources. It's Plagiarism at best, outright fabrication and vile corruption at worst.

In addition his models of both the Mishkan (Temple) and the Bet HaMidash (Temple) are from CHRISTIAN approximations, not Jewish. Furthermore, nothing he blathers about (and I've forced myself to watch his nonsense because I originally thought it was a Jewish program), is authentic Judaism or from an authentic Jewish source.

So as to whether he is a "false prophet" or a "wolf in sheep's clothing" or "satan's follower", he's none of these. He's just another spin meister who loves to make money off people's fascination with all things Jewish, without being committed to and serving the G-d of Israel.

If one is REALLY interested in the workings of the Mishkan and the Temple, one an easily visit Artscroll.com or the TempleInstitute.com.

I just happen to come across this "blog" and was actually laughing at the comments that are coming from people who know little or nothing about ME. First, I am a forth generation minister from a classical Pentecostal background, and have over 42,000 hours of personal Bible study that is used when preparing any message. During over 32 years of ministry we have developed a large outreach ministry that reaches around the world. Let's see how many of the "wolf chasers" who ave nothing more to do than comment on things they know little about actually know about the VOE (Voice of Evangelism)ministry. Did your know:

1. We do not send out letters, monthly or during the year asking for financial support or money to our mailing list.

2. After a one time donation for initial costs ($20.00), the VOE magazine is sent free to everyone who request it, 6 times a year. Some have received it for over twenty years...at no cost.

3. We send thousands of books and other resources to prisoners FREE each year, at no cost and we pay the postage. We have actually spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to help those in prison with many converts to CHRIST!!!

4. We have a fund that helps the poor and needy with food, clothes, and other needs...

5. We minister in churches without asking for any set amount and operate only on a free will offering.

6. We have college professors, including several scholars who watch our TV programs and who by and large, agree with the majority of the content and interpretation of the message.

Our ministry is funded from the sales of books, and materials. Oh, did I mention all funds received from these resource materials goes 100 percent back into the ministry?

Perhaps I should mention that 30,000 precious souls have come to Christ and and over 42,000 have been baptized in the Holy Spirit (Opps...I'm sure you don't believe in that so now I'm a heretic)!

Because you DISAGREE with a person's style, or certain content of a message, do NOT make them a FALSE PROPHET. A false prophet denies the Virgin Birth, Christ's deity, and his resurrection. Just thought it is better for someone to know about a person from the person, instead from someone's lopsided person opinion.

Sincerely,

Perry Stone
Founder of VOE

P.S. I failed to mentioned the four missionaries we support who are preaching in nations in the 10/40 window and the Bibles we are purchasing and the orphans we are supporting. Sounds like I am boasting...I certainly am...boasting in the goodness of the Lord that has allowed me to be a small part of spreading the gospel around the world.

Perry Stone's ministry is quite interesting. While probably not perfection, it does encourage one to study, finding the correlations linking the Old Testament and the New. I enjoy his programs, and appreciate being able to watch past programs online. Because of one program months ago, I began watching current events more closely. I was able to avoid loosing my retirement as others have recently. It wasn't a direct prediction of the coming crisis, just a faint whisper of warning that I picked up listening to one of the programs. I warned my children months in advance, but to of no avail. It is not our choosing who the Lord may use to speak to us. For me, I am grateful and will continue watching.

Well I think all people need to read the BIBLE for themselves. Every T.V. Evangelist are making money. It is not just Perry Stone. What about Joel Olsteen. he said that he was not sure if Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Well scripture tells us that No one comes to the father except through Jesus Christ. U should not hate on Perry Stone. What about the pastor at the church that you attend. Has he ever been wrong? Of course he has .
Scripture says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Perry Stone is a prophet in deed but not a false prophet.

HIS MESSAGES MAY NOT BE 100% BUT WHAT PREACHERS ARE?

Perry listen don't worry about this blog. This is one of satans demonic attacks on who you are.

Just continue what you are doing. I bet the same hypocrites in Elijah's time were saying the same thing to him. This is just a DEMONIC ATTACK ON YOU PERRY. I rebuke any Demonic Attack on you right now in the name of JESUS CHRIST!!!

The BIBLE says that by Jesus stripes we are healed. Whats false about that. Perry I thank GOD for your ministry. I know you make money but how many of these hypocrites would say anything about who JESUS is. They are down grading you but no one has said anything about who JESUS is. If these people actually had an intimate relationship with our Jesus they would know what the word says. Paul was persecuted for his beliefs. Continue what you are doing.

COMMUNION was something JESUS done with his disciples. One of the very last things. I have never read the Meal That Heals, but I do know that all our sickness, disease, and salvation was done by Jesus on that cross. I am proud to say that I believe in Jesus and that the God of Israel raised him from the dead. I believe in healing the sick.

Jesus said that the works that he done we will do and greater works than these because he goes to the father.

Maybe I am offline of what I am writing but I believe every word of the BIBLE.

PERRY STONE I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN SYLACAUGA.

CONTINUE THE WORK FOR OUR LORD AND STAY STRONG THROUGH THESE DEMONIC ATTACKS ON YOU. YOU WERE GIVEN THE POWER THROUGH OUR JESUS CHRIST.

i dont know about perry stone but i think one ofthe main things we can do to avoid being mislead by any false prophet is not to let any one preacher have the steering wheel to your faith Jesus gave it to you when He died on the cross for our sins and it is now our responsibility to seek God out in our own studies and relationship with Him (as well as fellowship) what im saying is worry about the fruit in your life and the people you letinside your inner circle really think about why you feel the way oyou do about certain things as of right now im cool with Perry.. he wrote a book that i couldnt tear my eyes off of i didnt evne know he wrote it! ... i dont think he is trying to be jewish but christianitys foundational religion was inpired from judaism JESUS WAS A JEW! yes he spoke of the many imperfections of judaism and i dont think we need to be jews to be saved but we can more indepthly understand Jesus message and our own religious state if we understand the life of Jesus, who he was teaching to, and then we better gain the concept of what He was saying... Perry has alot of schooling behind his preaching , but thats not a reason to follow Him , Follow Christ He is worth your time to study up on it yourself.. or are we to concerned with "feeding our own bellies"

Cathy Palmer said...

Yes, may we only follow the Lord Jesus Christ and not a man/woman so as not to be misled or deceived.

1 John 2:23-29 tells us, "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him."

one the the commandments is not to say false witness ....right? no one knows a mans true heart but GOd and I have not seen anything that perry has said or done watching his shows that I could say is anti christian or against God,therefore any people ideas or feelings or opinions would be a false witness.
PLEASE PEOPLE.....WE ARE TO LOOK TO GOD FIRST AND HONOR HIM AND WE NEED TO EDIFY OURSELVES INSTEAD OF OTHERS...UNLESS THEY ARE TEACHING AGAINST THE BIBLE,JESUS, AND SCRIPTURE AND I HAVE NOT SEEN THAT. HE STATES when he talks...in my opinion and gives you a reason why he thinks that but does not DECREE his opinion as absolute....
only the bible verses.....
May God Bless everyone with good intentions but we must really clock back down and stop gossiping about other people hence God hates that and he loves you!
warm regards....
May God bless each of you and the holy spirit speak to each of your hearts and make it soft and humble and not hard.
best regards to Perry Stone.
I like watching he and hagee and

You have to believe in jesus christ and God, not people...and everyone should re read the 10 commandments and stop gossiping and slinging someones name around.
best to keep opinions and feelings to one self without fact.
I mean this in the nicest way possible...we all including myslef has to edify myself from getting worked up and remind myself to seek the kingdom first and righteousness....God is all powerful and in charge.

I purchased Perry Stone's book, The Meal That Heals. My unsaved sister came and spent a month with me. During that time we read through the book together and daily took communion. when she went home she was saved and baptized in the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues. This on is November '08. Today she is still on fire for Jesus - hungry for the Word and gives God the glory for the wonderful things He did in her life. Thank you Perry - the book was awesome! Her salvation is worth more than the price of 10,000 of your books.

Perry Stone has gone way off the narrow path, with his latest Manna-Fest TV programs on the after life. He had a person on who had a out of body experience and went to Heaven. The guest went on to tell his experience of what it is like in Heaven. This is the problem that is presented, the guest's story can't be verified. And if it can't be backed up by the Bible, and you have to believe the guest at his word. Then there is really no credibility to the story. This is really another form of the occult, leading to necromancy which is strictly forbidden by God.

Dear Cathy & other readers,
A friend of mine recently told me something disturbing that she learned from one of Perry Stone's videos. She said that when Sudam Husain and those with him were killed their evil spirits entered our country because we were the one's who killed him. I knew this was wrong and didn't line up with scripture but at the moment didn't know what to say. The next day I spent a great deal of time in the Word and the Lord showed me what to say to her. I sent her the message and she responded with a verse I read the verse and Matt 12:43 and it is clearly being misinterpreted. Yes the evil spirit leaves the person who was killed or it has been cast out of but it doesn't enter the person or nation that killed it.. it seeks out any arid place... it could go to anyone not prepared.. not protected by the Lord. This message has my friend believing it was some evil by someone else keeping her from a close relationship with Christ... it causes her to not take responsibility for herself.
I did tell her I would look into this though and I mean to do just that. I am contacting my pastor and my professor (for New Testament Principles) who is also a chaplain and getting their input.
My question is I know nothing about this man Perry Stone or any of his teachings. If anyone has a link to some of his writings videos.. especially the 10/40 teaching.. could you please post the links so I can check everything out.

Thank You so much!

Perry Stone is a TEACHER of BIBLE PROPHECY. He has studied the Scripture in the original languages for years. While I don't agree with everything Pastor Stone teaches (actually, I don't agree with everything anyone teaches!), I find his Bible prophecy teachings to be interesting and quite helpful. Yes, he is a born-again Christian; and yes, he is just a man who can make mistakes (I've heard him admit that himself). However, as with any teaching, I weigh everything against the written Word. Oh, and NOT the archaic, antiquated KJV. When I study I want to use a translation that is in MY language which is modern American English. Perry Stone a false prophet? Not according to the Scripture.

Hi, I am a partner in Perry Stone's Ministry. He is NOT a False Prophet. What I really like about Perry is he tells it likes it is. He is very informative and extremely intelligent. Over the years I have learned alot from him. Things which are NOT being taught in the "feel Good" churches of today. Unless you faithly watch Manna-Fest and attends his conferences you know nothing about him. I can from experience say he has never solicted money from me as a partner. He is NOT about money nor does he teach another Gospel. He is however an annointed teacher.

Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ tells us in Matthew 7:1
"Judge not, that ye be not judged."

I recently watched Perry Stone on TBN. He was spewing political propaganda. Using divisive language like "the elites", the liberals". He went on for several minutes about what "Northerners" think about "Southeners". None of his message, nor his demeanor was a true representation of Christ. He was demonstrating a spirit of hate, division and separatism. None of which are fruits of the Holy Spirit. He needs to do his first works over!

As a bible believing christian, I am concerned for some of the "christians" who are slandering an anointed man of God, Perry Stone. From reading some of the comments, the truly hateful statements are from those who obviously do not know the Word well or of the ministry of Perry Stone. I find it so shameful that a "christian" would spent their time slandering a preacher who does an outstanding job teaching the Word of God to the masses in a wonderfully interesting and effective way whose "fruits" are evident in the souls that are being saved. Maybe, those who slander should spent more time studying the Word for themselves and they will find out that they are cursing themselves by such unfounded gossip and that they are sinning. Although, it is appropriate to point out false prophets to warn others, and to always "test" what a preacher teaches against the Word of God, it is not appropriate to slander a preacher because you are ignorant of the scriptures or you do not like him for whatever reason. Perry Stone only directs people to God and the Word, not himself. I have never found anything that he has taught to be heretical or unfounded in the Word. A false prophet leads people AWAY from Christ not to Christ. Those who call Perry Stone a false prophet don't even know what one is.
I encourage those who call yourselves "christians" to pray for this dear man of God and study, study ,study the Word and I believe your attitude will change drastically as you learn the "heart" of God for yourselves.

why judge and cause confusion? if some of you was on a national platform such as t.v,i am sure people would find something about you and call you a false prophet.if you think you can do better than get a national t.v program that reaches millions, travel & conduct meetings, print your own books & cds, raise the money to preach the gospel(oh,God will raise the money!some will say... so why are't you doing more than having some blog that don't cost you a cent?if God is raising the money for you maybe he feels what you're doing is'nt worth a cent!)then you will begin to understand ministry &won't be so fast to call a brother in Christ a false prophet.

I am HIGHLY AMUSED at some of the statements that I have read on this blog concerning Perry Stone. I am close to the age of 35 now and was raised on his preaching. Perry started out in Tent revivals as did many of the pastors in The Church of God did before his time and I can say this from literally hearing this mans preaching my entire life and that is what you see is what you get with him. He is not out there for the money nor for the recognition that he receives from his preaching. Perry Stone preaches what God lays upon his heart to preach----NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS. Is it a crime for an evangelist to be financially blessed by God by the donations that are being sent to his ministry? Where do you people think the money comes from to pay for the television program that comes into the living rooms to those who are shut/in and cannot attend Church on a regular basis or the free materials that are being sent to those who are incarcerated? Why is there not anyone accusing Billy Graham of being a fraud? He is 100 times more well known as Perry and I am sure that Billys ministry has millions of dollars more that Perrys does yet there is no mention of him doing anything un/biblical. I have nothing against Billy Graham, I am just trying to make a point. Get your stories straight before you make accusations about a man of God that you know nothing about.

What if a non christian was to find this site? would they want to come to know Christ? And you wonder y many non-belivers refuse to come to Christ because of all the hypocrites in the church. Satan has done a wonderful job of deceiving us and turning us on ourselves, just as this blog has done. Think about it, what would Jesus do? (WWJD)

Wow... I'm surprised at the amount of time we Christians take to fire back at each other, wonder what God thinks of it all. It is my humble opinion that we waste time on things that do not fulfill the spirit, if something sounds right than lets take it as a blessing, if something sounds wrong, let's ask God for guidance for eachother. No one is exempt from making mistakes... even Peter denied our lord Jesus... did that make him a false prophet?

Anonymous said...

While I don't agree with all Perry Stone's actions. What bothers me is this spirit of rationalization and intellectualism that comes out of the American churches. We love trying to be analytical in our approach of studying the bible and then get all over the net expounding doctrine to others but yet many are having such a hard time in receiving things from the Spirit of God. It has gotten to the point in this nation we are doing more to put up the wall of partition that was torn down by the blood that Christ shed for all that would hear Him.

Because of the lateness of the hour it is time that the body of Christ put away things that continues to strengthen the spiritual immaturity and keeping many dull in their hearing. I believe Christ said it best to him that have an ear to hear let hear what the Spirit is speaking to Churches…. I have for one have grown weary from a spiritual standpoint of teachings that are developed from a human origin and not from the Spirit of God because are we missing the bigger picture right now. And that is there is a veil of darkness that crept all over America today and it seems nobody has notice because we spend some much time going back and forth of disapproving who is right or wrong. It has gotten to a point that nobody is clearly hearing from the Lord and what direction He is moving in the earth these days. People pf God the time has come for you to hear God is speaking to you for yourselves and stop wasting time on things that does not matter. Because as the judgments are intensifying in the earth and many are dying spiritually and physically and does not even know it yet until it will be too late.
So if you are caught up throwing stones at people who may be called of the Lord and He has given you things to say it written Matt.12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. V:36 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
May advice to many of you is that you get before the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, so that He may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. So that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling… Know the hope what He is calling you to do in these last and evil days.

I came across the ministry by accident searching the Internet; now I enjoy listening to the teachings. I am free to question anything said and I am free to pray to find the right answer. It would be hard to fake the sincereness he has toward Jesus, Gospel and Jews. I am glad that there are some rare people who are courageous enough to serve God in this way; it is a difficult but great way to minister to millions and help those who have spiritual needs and problems. All humans are not perfect, so Perry is not. But I wish there was more and more people like him with such commitment to the Lord. If anyone feels that financial contributions will spoil such prophets, at least pray for them to be lead by God, so they teach in the right way. The day will come and everyone will give their answer to God about not only doings but words. Hmmmm, those who do the work – do to their best, those who don’t do much - they look out for little mistakes of the workers.

Perry is not the only one with a background in Biblical languages or Bible study. I have qualifications, too. He tends to take the truth and add to it. I'not sure why he feels the need to do this. He also takes the book of Jasher, recognised in academic circles as a fake to support his teachings.
As a previous contributor said, he claims that many things are genuinely Jewish when they are not. he also makes much of his father etc being pastors. So what? Nothing they have done, no matter how godly gives him any brownie points with God.
many WOF preachers claim to have brought people to the LORD and to support missions. That does not mean they are sound. WHat they teach and say should be honest and true to the Gospel. They should be above reproach. In perry's case, associating with Paula White and TBN speaks volumes.
We have a responsibility to warn each other of falsehood on the church. If people do not heed the warning, their fate is their responsibility.
3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
Ezek 33:2-5 (KJV)

Here is a THOUGHT......
I am a pentecostal youth pastor - saved, sanctified, washed in the Blood and baptised in the Holy Ghost!!!!! I study my bible, I read the scriptures, I believe in the HOLINESS of Gods word! I keep my faith in check, I do not fall for those that constantly reguest money...BUT that being said.

Our church takes up an offering, a missions offering and a stewardship offering, we have fundraisers out our ears! And this is why...

It takes MONEY to help those in need, it takes MONEY to build onto a church that is too small because it is growing and growing, it takes MONEY to send food and supplies to desilate places so that they can see the grace of Gods people, it takes MONEY to print bibles and books, it takes MONEY to put gas in a bus to go witness to the lost, it takes MONEY to pay electricity in the church you attend.

REMEMBER that we are not to know EVERYTHING, we are to live by the commandments given to us throughout the entire bible, not just Exodus 20! We are to live by Faith! I personally do not spend my time watching people like Perry Stone, however my mother is one of this beiggest fans! I KNOW what the bible says from cover to cover, I do not make excuses and I live by example!

SOMETHINGS are not meant to be explained! I do know that their will be an onslot of false prophets, but read your bible...Perry is right...those "false prophets"..the bible says "Many will come in my name and shall decieve many"....those people will not speak of salvation through Jesus, they cannot...it would result in actual salvation..which defeats the ENTIRE purpose of being a "false prophet".

DO NOT allow yourself to be decieved, Satans job it too place doubt in the minds of all believers. Do not break down those that offer the unsaved the love of Jesus and the way to pray themselves saved! You may not and may not agree with the constant request of money, but it is necessary to do Gods work!

ONE FAITH....Christianity should be ONE FAITH...not thousands of "religions"! Religion will not save you....the biblical truth studied and fasted over will give you all of your answers.

My God Bless those that do his will and are willing to endure persecution in His name!

Friends, please watch this video that shows how slick Satan can be to deceive and mislead:

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Matthew 7:21-23

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
Matthew 7:13-15

Oh Cathy...Is there anyone that you believe in? Is there any minister that gains your approval? The poor ones maybe? Why be so begrudging of those that gave it all up for God and he has blessed them abundunly. We do not know the hearts of men like Perry or Billy. We do not have the right to condem them for spreading the gospel in ways that we (meaning you) may not like.
WHO opens a blog calling the evangist "false prophets"?? Maybe someone that is being led to do so, in the name of breaking down the faith?

Anonymous said...

first off-
I was sure of myself before I went to one of Perry Stone's "meetings"... But when I was there I was in fact taken over by truth. You can read scripture all day long- and tell yourself you know truth. But until You come face to face with the HOLY SPIRT you have no idea what truth is. I was there. I was broken- siting there red faced in an experience with the Holy presence of GOD. It wasn't lie. It wasn't fake.
And still to this day- and I will tell you Jesus Christ was there with me in that meeting.
So break away from your fears & legalism-
and realize you have no place to call fake-fake....One day your will die- and you will stand in front of God amd you will have to deal with this.. do you want this>? this Stupid Blog on your life?---
Do you want to deal with the consequences of
offending a man of GOD>?
I sure would not.
And I would pity the person to
call truth a lie..
Watch your back,
Because he IS A MAN OF GOD.
And what you PUSH on this blog is a LIE.

I am a Catholic..and I have watched Perry Stone in absolute horror!! He completely misinforms viewers about the Catholic Church, he sells communion (which is truly much more than just bread and wine) and in a recent episode he referred to "an angel" as Christ!
Yes, he plays on that "gnostic" desire for secret knowledge. There are too many gullible people around. If you want Truth..come to the Catholic Church. The only Church that Jesus established.

Erica said...

May God forgive you for printing this. I read as much as I could read, as well as the first bundles of "sources" found... and it mostly sounds like some of you are mad that the man charges for his "nuggets" or books/materials. The man leads people to Jesus Christ, and SO WHAT if he charges for some of his hard work? I bet he gives more back than you think. He is not a false prophet... HOW DARE YOU make that accusation about someone. Do you criticize every healer you see on t.v.? Do you not think that God could allow healers in our day and age? It sounds like the critics here are lacking in faith, and more absorbed with envy or fear (not Godly fear, either) than anything. WHY NOT PREACH THE GOSPEL instead of hating on our brothers and sisters? "You" people, choose to bring someone down than lift someone up. Don't just look with your eyes... look with your hearts.

AND Jesus Christ did NOT establish the Catholic church, the Romans did... Hence the name, "Roman Catholic". Catholicism is religious doctrine that steers from Jesus Christ's true teachings. I've heard other Cathoics say the same thing, but I think you all need to get to the root of Christianity... WHICH IS CHRIST.

Dear Erica...please check the historical facts, the "Romans" were pagans and did not establish the Catholic Church..LOL They tried to destroy it constantly. Perry Stone may sound like he is bringing people to Christ but he is promoting a very "individualistic" type of Christianity that is appealing to people these days. After all, why go to Church when you can just "take" communion in your home? Holy communion was always known to be the True presence of Jesus. This can be verified by historical facts. (It is what all the early Christians believed) When Perry and his friends laugh about how they "take" communion while driving in there car etc... it makes a MOCKERY of Jesus's sacrafice. Only the devil would make a mockery of that!! So beware of this wolf in sheeps clothing. I just urge people to look more closely at the kinds of things he is saying...especially when he claims to be "more informed" than those early Christians....

Anonymous said...

Dear Penecostal youth pastor...Hi I am a Catholic and would like to AGREE with your post that says we are to be ONE FAITH and not thousands of "religons" But unfortunately since Martin Luthers teaching of "sola scriptura" or The bible only...that is exactly what has happened. The Bible was never meant to stand on its own. It is a product of the Catholic Church...In FACT it is a CATHOLIC BOOK. There is nothing in the bible that contradicts Catholic teaching. (If one takes the time to look into it) But I disagree with some people here who are sympathetic to Perry and say we shouldn't judge. I have read some of the Church fathers and boy did they ever go after the false teachers. You can read about all the early Church heresys and how they were stopped. Unfortunately in protestantism there is no "authority" to speak up, because you leave it up to individual interpretaion of the bible.
If you watch Perry Stones episode a few weeks back...he is talking about lightening and 2012.
Anyway he just brazenly says" and another angel, who I believe is Christ" Well excuse me but who is HE to say that an angel is Christ? Christ is GOD...NOT and ANGEL. You can watch it for yourself on his website.
Sounds a little fishy to me.

Erica said...

Dear "Anonymous" people that posted the last two posts... The Romans did "create" and establish the Catholic religion. They were the first to orchestrate any "organized" religion, and Catholicism was their product. In the scheme of things, Catholicism was the first religion which contained it's own doctrine with a mix of Jesus' teachings... Apparently not completely of Jesus Christ or the Holy Scripture, as it still has remnants of paganism. The Catholics, still TODAY, have pagan rituals that are found nowhere in the Scriptures. The Catholics (and other similar religions) quite obviously (I'm thinking... Easter bunnies and Christmas trees) still celebrate pagan traditions. If you can not see that, then you are sadly deluding yourselves. Catholicism is basically paganism and "Christianity" combined.

HOW CAN YOU SAY that the Holy Bible is a product of your pagan/christian religion? THAT IS ABSURB! THERE ARE PLENTY of teachings within the Bible that disagree with the Catholic religion, and I've taken the time to look. It is sadly apparent that you ("believers" in the Catholic "faith") preach your own religion, OVER the teachings of the one true God, and His Son. It is also apparent that you have been mislead by your religious leaders. As I stated in the first post... You need to get to the heart of Christianity, which is CHRIST! Not your ungodly added religious ideas, doctrines, and rituals. Jesus was not in a church when he "took communion" (the last supper) was he? No! He was amongst his friends, and Jesus tells us that where "two or more are gathered in my name, I am amongst them". If my relationship with my Lord was not "individualistic" (PERSONAL) I would be nothing more than another religious fanatic.

AND TO THE OWNER OF THIS BLOG: You attempted to quote a scripture, saying that it is "OK" to judge others. I just came across it, and I couldn't believe what I read. Please let me inform you that that very scripture is telling you NOT to judge. Matthew 7:1-5 = "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the spec of dust in your brothers eye, and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, let me take the spec out of your eye, when all of the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the spec from your brothers eye." This scripture does NOT grant you the right to judge. Jesus himself did not come to judge the world... So how can you read this and believe it is your right to judge? That is completely false. We are NOT called to judge the world guilty! We are called to lead others to God, through His Son, and love one another. Don't misuse The Word.

YOU ALL MUST DROP YOUR RELIGIOUS ATTITUDES! It is not of God, and certainly not the teaching of Jesus Christ, the Savior of man. WE are supposed to be one Body, united in Christ. Not separated by false doctrines and teachings.

You tell me not to misuse the Word but you say "Jesus himself did not come to judge the world". However, John 5:22 says, "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son".

You tell me not to judge, but the Lord Jesus Christ tells us in John 7:24, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

Your words come across angry and not seasoned with grace, truth and love.

My continued prayer is that the Truth be revealed, the lies be exposed, the deceived wakeup, the sinner repent, the lost get saved and the Lord Jesus Christ be glorified.

Because He lives,

Okay, Cathy. Well, it's not right to judge, so of course, I'm going to tell you that it's wrong, because it's what God's Word -really- says. It's not "passing judgement" if it's fact... because it's not what I think, it's what God says. I will pray for you, because I do believe that you are trying to serve God, but I do not think that you are going about it the right way because your statements conflict with the Word, and it seems your interpretations are not accurate. Of course, I do get upset when I see hate being spread around more and more everyday, and people misusing God's Word for their own selfish reasons and a very definitive separation in the true Body because of "religious" persons that care nothing about Jesus or matters of the heart, but somehow believe they are fit to teach others.

I do have the truth, and a true love that only comes from God. I say that without arrogance, as it is a gift from God. I'm trying to help, but you judge me unloving and angry? Well, that's your choice, isn't it? Wait, you believe it's your right, right? You need to quit passing judgement. We are not called to judge...

"God sent his Son into the world. God did NOT send his Son to judge the world guilty. God sent his Son so that the world could be saved through his Son." - John 3:17

"Who can accuse (JUDGE) the people that God has chosen? No one! God is the One who makes his people right." - Romans 8:33

John 7:24, is Jesus telling his people to do what is right, and not to "judge" doing an act of healing "guilty" or wrong, simply because it is on the Sabbath. This is not a merit to judge PEOPLE. That's my point, here. Passing judgement on PEOPLE or judging other people guilty.

The same type of judging is not relevant with John 5:22. The scripture does state that God gave Jesus the right to judge, BUT He did not give that right to us! God gave Him that right to be a sacrifice for our sins. Without Jesus having that right, there would be no need in following Him, as following The Law would still be "enough" to have eternal life. It doesn't make it our right to judge. Read on to 5:24...

"I tell you the truth. If a person hears what I say and believes in the One (God) who sent me, that person has life forever. That person will not be judged guilty. He has already left death and has entered into life."

Once more, this type of judging is Jesus' right only, given only to the Son, and doesn't give us the right to judge others.

Listen, I know you think I'm unloving but this judgemental attitude is pride talking. It is not of God and you have to understand that. Cathy, I am telling you this out of love. Forgive me for sounding angry, but I do get frustrated, because God's Word is not being used correctly.

Please try to look at what I'm saying to you with an open heart and mind.

Erica, one thing I see is that you are using a modern version of the Bible. This is troubling as all the modern versions are purposefully watering down, twisting words and removing verses that point to the diety of Christ.

No surprise as the Word of God has always been under attack since the garden when satan said to Eve, "Hath God said...?"

When we read the King James version and use a Hebrew and Greek concordance, we see the true meanings of the words.

For example, the first verse you quote:
"God sent his Son into the world. God did NOT send his Son to judge the world guilty. God sent his Son so that the world could be saved through his Son." - John 3:17

In the King James John 3:17 says
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Nothng about judging.

My prayer is that we both give grace to each other and pray that the Lord Jesus Christ expose any lie we may be believing and heal our hearts.

I've been deceived before and may very well still be deceived in some areas and pray I am teachable by His grace. I am trusting God to lead me to the Truth.

blessings to you,
Cathy

Cathy,

In the King James John 3:17 says:
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

That is saying that God did not send Jesus in the world to condemn the world. Condemning is judging guilty. It may not have the exact word, but that is what the Scripture is talking about. It's like, when a house is condemned... then the house is shut up, with warning tape across the door. The house is cut off from the outside, and no one is allowed in or out. That is condemned... or rather "judged unsafe or unfit" but in Scripture, it means "judged guilty".

I did use a modern translation earlier, only to make it easier to understand. But I will tell you that I check my K.J.V. for verification with modern translations, to ensure that I'm understanding and learning what The Word is really teaching.

God bless you

Yes Erica, it could mean 'judge' but it doesn't say judge, so it may have another meaning.

I am no expert in Greek but here is the definition of 'condemn' from Strong's Lexicon:

1) to separate, put asunder, to pick out, select, choose

2) to approve, esteem, to prefer

3) to be of opinion, deem, think, to be of opinion

4) to determine, resolve, decree

5) to judge

a) to pronounce an opinion concerning right and wrong

1) to be judged, i.e. summoned to trial that one's case may be examined and judgment passed upon it

b) to pronounce judgment, to subject to censure

1) of those who act the part of judges or arbiters in matters of common life, or pass judgment on the deeds and words of others

6) to rule, govern

a) to preside over with the power of giving judicial decisions, because it was the prerogative of kings and rulers to pass judgment

7) to contend together, of warriors and combatants

a) to dispute

b) in a forensic sense

1) to go to law, have suit at law

So for now, we can agree to disagree.

Dear Erica,
I read your post and your reply to me. It seems that you have been very misinformed about the Catholic Church. If you only go to "protestant" sources for your information then you will only get a one-sided perspective. Like I said, Jesus established only one Church which is still here today. It is absolutely NOT pagan and was not started by the Romans. The bible is a OUR book and it does not contradict Catholic Teaching. Try reading the Gospel of John 6...where Jesus says you must eat his flesh and drink his blood? Do you do that? The Catholic Church has taught the real presence of Jesus in Holy communion for 2,000 years. And it can be proven from scripture. Do you go to a Church that has Bishops, priests and deacons? The bible says that the Church has these people. My Church has all three. You say we have Pagan practices? Pleas name one. My Catholic church never has easter egg hunts but there are plenty of non-denominational protestant Churches around that do. My Church reads the scriptures at every Mass and celebrates the lords passover every Sunday. My Church believes in a Personal Relationship with Jesus in many ways but most especially through the sacraments that Jesus instituted. Didn't Jesus say to his apostles...'whose sins you forgive are forgiven' ?? Our priests have the authority from Christ to forgive sins. In the sacrament of reconciliation we hear those words (your sins are forgiven, go in peace) from the priest. That is pretty personal!!
Another thing...who SENT Perry Stone to preach? Remember the gnostic Simon? He went to preach also..but with no authority from the apostles. Perry reminds me of him. He is using everything on the news to his advantage. The only kind of prophet he is ...is a false one. I didn't see anyone respond to what he said about Jesus being an angel. You would rather attack the Catholic Church than admit that this guy is a phony.

Erica said...

It's so arrogant to call the Holy Bible of God, YOUR book. It's the Book of God, not Catholics. I did name a couple of your pagan practices, did you read what I wrote? You're sadly misinformed. NO ONE needs a priest to talk to Jesus and be forgiven of sin. How is that personal? You are placing a man between the Lord and yourself, that is less personal than the relationship I have with Jesus. I'm not boasting, it's simply the truth. You keep talking about your church, and that's all I keep hearing from Catholics... how great their church is. It's so abundantly clear that Jesus Christ is not the main focus of your "Christian" religion. The Bible focuses on the Body of Christ... that is the real Church. Yes, I have been baptized, and yes, I have shared in Christ's Body and Blood. Do you think your church is the only one that does that? Surely not.

I know Catholics, better than I know Perry Stone. If you bothered reading everything I wrote you would see that I am not for judging others, as it is not of God. But if you ask me, I have watched Perry Stone, and you should not be judging him as a False prophet. But don't ask me... ask God.

I give up. I will pray for you all. This blog is wasting my precious time and energy. I hope that you all see the Truth of Jesus Christ, and put down your religious attitudes before it's too late.

Cathy, I know what I'm talking about but I know that no one is going to listen, so I will pray for your eyes and hearts to be open... but ultimately it's your choice. If you keep ignoring the truth, God may very well harden your hearts beyond return so you will be blinded from ever really knowing Him. Not a judgement call, but if you know the Bible then you should know what I'm talking about.

I guess I will have to agree to disagree, but I do love you all and I will pray for you. Sorry if I sound angry, but you have to wake up.

God bless

Dear Erica,
I think its sad that Jesus's followers have to "agree to disagree" especially when at that last supper Jesus prayed that we would all be ONE. I re-read your post and I did not see those "pagan" practices listed. As for being arrogant about the bible. that is not the case. I am just giving you facts. The bible did not drop down out of the sky...it came from the Church. It was the authority of the Church that determined which books were inspired and which were not. So, if the Church can make this decision then most likely it can interpret it correctly as well. Too many people MISinterpret it! and come up with all kinds of wild ideas. (such as the rapture) The bible says NO...to private interpretation. It also says in 1st Timothy 3-15 that the CHURCH is the pillar and ground of the TRUTH. Jesus tells the disciples to take a disagreement to the CHURCH (not the bible) So clearly, he established a Church with authority. The bible does NOT contradict Church teachings. You are probably taking something out of context. You say that it is so "abundantly clear" that Jesus is NOT the main focus of our religon. I guess you've never been to Mass before. You have no clue what you are talking about. We receive JESUS in HOLY COMMUNION..the true body and blood of Jesus Christ. This is something so AMAZING that a miracle takes place on our altars in our Church. The lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World...comes directly into us under the appearance of bread and wine. Read the gospel accounts of the last supper again..read John 6 again...the Bread of Life
is Jesus. Not a symbol of him..but HIM. The Jews had a problem with this...and they left him. We take Jesus at his WORD because he is GOD. But, you can have your matza and grape juice Perry Stone style. OR you can look into WHY Catholics believe this...
What kind of Church do you go to? and who started it?

I said I was going to "agree to disagree" because it was suggested from Cathy, and I don't agree with judging people... I'm not going to agree that judging others is right, because it's not. That is why I wrote that.

"Easter bunnies and Christmas trees"... Where is that in the Scriptures? It's not, because it's pagan practices. Anyway... moving on... I know that the Bible didn't fall from the sky... Look, I was not raised in a Christian household because my father was a Catholic. He was raised in the religion, and there is something missing from the church. That "something" is Jesus. If you think that my father wasn't devoted to the church or that "I'm misinformed" I'm sad to say that half of my family are still devoted to the church, but have a real problem with Christ's teachings. One major problem I've encountered with your religion (yes, I've been to your "mass" many times over) is the fact that the followers know Scripture, in a very literal way, but do not follow or practice what they know. They can dish out Scripture (when speaking or writing) but they fail to follow it or understand it's meaning. There is an arrogance in that church. It seems as though the church's history is more important that Christ. Please understand, I'm not saying that every Catholic doesn't know Christ, but I know the church much better than you think I do, and I have to go off of what I've observed for years on end...

Bottom Line (and the point I've been trying to make here) is that the real "religion" IS Christ. That is the true church. HE is the true rock. That being said, I go to a non-denominational Christian church... originally STARTED BY JESUS CHRIST. What type of people attend? People who want to follow the teachings of Christ, and want to have a very personal relationship with their Savior. People who want more than a title, they want the truth, without the religious hoopla. People who love God through His Son, and try each and every day to follow the Holy Scripture. So don't judge me based on my "religion" because I'm not a fan of religion JUST my God, Yahweh and His glorious Son. Man's idea of religion has done nothing more than separate the Body of Christ.

Again, I'll state, I have had communion. Other churches do this practice as well, especially since Jesus asks us to in remembrance. Catholics are not the only one, you know. It's so sad that you're judging me wrong because I'm not doing what Jesus asks me to do in a Catholic church. That is the religious attitude I'm talking about. Jesus did not have "communion" in a Catholic church. He did it amongst his friends, his followers. I have not done this in my own home, but what is so wrong with the idea? Christ told us, "where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there with them" so if someone wants do the act at home, what does it matter? It doesn't! It is the reason for doing it, not WHERE you do it.

Continued...

The rapture can be observed in the Scriptures:

1 Thess 4:16-17 - "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

1 Thess 1:10 - "And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come."

1 Thess 2:19 - "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?"

1 Thess 5:23 - "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

1Cor 15:52 - "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

Does it honestly seem like such a "wild" idea? It shouldn't, if you have the Holy Spirit, and are able to understand the Scriptures. You should forget doing your homework on "your" church, and sincerely try to simply follow Christ.

Why condemn (JUDGE) when we are called to be fishers of men (Cathy, this means, leading people to Christ, although it doesn't say those words) and walk in love? PLEASE put down your religious attitudes, people, and follow the TRUE CHURCH, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

P.S. - This isn't fun. I find it sad, that people are so mislead, but I will pray for you. Please understand, I love you, and I want the best for you.

Dear Erica...There are so many things to address in your post!! First I would like to tell you that I DO follow Christ...that is why I am in HIS CHURCH. (you called it "my church")
Jesus said.."on this Rock I will build MY CHURCH" SO, if you want to follow Jesus and have the correct understanding of scripture then follow HIS Church. Now, as for the Easter bunnies and Christmas trees. Well, even non Catholics are having Easter egg hunts and such. I personally do not have a problem with Christmas trees and have many Christian Ornaments on them. Since you say you have Catholic family members then maybe they can explain to you how the Church follows a liturgical calendar. This Church Year calendar is based on the Whole LIfe of CHRIST. We journey through the year learning about his birth, ministy..death and resurrection. I find this to be very helpful. The feasts and seasons of the Catholic Church come directly from Judaism as does the Mass. We celebrate Holy week with Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and then Easter Vigil(sat night)and EasterSunday...then Easter is still celebrated for 50 days after. That doesn't sound Pagan to me! Pagans worshipped nature Gods. We worship Jesus. There are some people who like to accuse the Catholic Church of every rediculous thing under the sun. If you take the time to truly investigate these issues you will see that they don't amount to a hill of beans!! You say that "Jesus" is missing from our Church? It is sounding to me like because of your father..? you have had a bad experience with the Catholic Church? Maybe you do not want to look at the Church objectively because you have developed a prejudice against it? That is unfortunate. You might want to listen to some converts to the Catholic church and see how excited they are to be Catholic. Here are a few....Steve Ray (catholic-convert.com) Scott Hahn (salvationhistory.com) on YOUTube..you can watch TIM STAPLES regarding the Rapture. I saw all your scripture verses and now you can listen to the other side.
Oh, and Erica this should not be a sad thing. We need to examine our beliefs closely so we can be sure we are following Jesus and not our own ideas.
One more thing...this post WAS about Perry Stone originally!! We do not want to follow someone who calls Jesus an Angel...do we?
Or do we ignore Christs warning...to beware of false prophets. I don't blame you for your understanding of the Catholic Church because you've been misinformed and have family members not really living the faith. But..there are people like me and others who LOVE the Church BECAUSE it is Christs Church. If you want to have a "relationship" with Jesus, the Church, the sacraments (Gods life to us) the bible (our book) are all important parts of that relationship. Some people think reading the bible is all they need to have a relationship with Christ. But thats NOT what the bible says!!
Also, regarding the rapture you can also check out Carl Olsens book "will Catholics be left behind?" He was a former fundamentalist .
It really helps to look at both sides.
Thats it for now.

He uses history to prove the bible right!! when it comes to him preaching he preaches salvation...HOW is he a wolf in sheep clothing if he is not leading people away from salvation???
( His eyes may be starting to focus on his "belly" as a God... but instead of bad talking... pray for him... fame comes with many temtations... his original motives i am sure were not to milk this for all its worth... even if it was... he will be judged accordingly... however... he preaches salvation, and proves Gods word... he is no wolf...)
People are too afraid of being misled that every one turns into a wolf... when out of no where the real wolf comes and tricks you... COME ON!!!! Dear Nic,
If you read the previous posts you will see that I said Perry Stone refers to an angel in the book of revelation as Jesus. That is enough for me not to listen to him. He gives more opinions than FACTS. Try reading the writings of the early Church Fathers and see what they had to say about people like this.
Simon the Gnostic preached salvation too!!!Right along side Peter in Rome. Who would you listen to?

I am not in "FEAR" of being mislead by Perry Stone. I am critical of the "teachings" on his TV show. Does anyone care about Truth anymore?

Anonymous said...

What is really disturbing is that anyone - even myself has the time to do this. I don't usually waste my time ... I actually haven't posted to a blog .... for years. I came across this one by accident. I have to leave several thoughts.
1. I came across this blog by accident. My brother purchased His fallen angels, demons, and evil Spirit’s video. Being unworthy, but still receiving a good education under godly men I viewed this video a year or two ago and found it’s contents compelling. Since, I have viewed other videos and I can’t remember them but found some of the teachings to be stretched and others erroneous on some points. Sheep in wolves clothing??? Well, in the end, Jesus will separate the wheat / chaff, sheep / goats. All truth is God’s truth so learn the truth so you can spot error for yourself. The fact that someone felt the need to start this process shows too many are aimless sheep wandering …
2. In America, we spend too much time hearing the word and not doing what it says. I know of Sunday school classes teaching second year Greek to laymen … while those without Christ are perishing. The time spent arguing about recent / ancient arguments gives the enemy what he desire II Tim. 2:23. So, we have sponge like Christians soaked with biblical teachings … more than they could ever obey … more aptly soaked with the blood of unbelievers who perished while arguing possibly with other true believers. Tell me, can you obey what you know now … if you look at a woman to lust after her …Adulterer; if you hate your brother …murderer Whitewashed sepulchers!
3. I must weigh in on the Catholic string of arguments. The purpose of Christianity … the purpose of God becoming flesh was to suffer for men’s sins. Christ performed the work no man could perform. He was the perfect lamb that takes away the sin of the world. Peter said, “You are the Christ, the son of the living God” It is the confession of men that “Jesus is God” on which Christ built his church. Look for yourself. He spends more time compelling men to believe he was who he said he was. At one point Jesus said, “If you do not believe my words, believe the miracles I am doing.” It has always been about the confession of faith … or trust that Christ’s death on the cross paid for my sin. IF one really believes something is true … it will change his actions … this is the proper order of things. Some Catholics that post here maybe have this faith. I have followed in the faith for 25 years and have never met one catholic that has. I have heard they existed … never met one. Most, when talking about Christ, look at me like deer in headlights … they have no idea. Except of course they know they are catholic …. If you talk with them long enough and remind them of what they are supposed to believe … catechism class comes back to them like some old high school history lesson … long forgotten. Frankly, it is even borderline intellectual faith, no better than the devils faith. I think that after reading the posts this may not be true of some of you. AHHH, but, in church look around you, your field is white unto harvest! I have met “Catholics” who couldn’t tell you the fundamentals of the faith (Of which protestants and Catholics agree) and tell me of re-incarnation, practice wicca, study the occult and live exactly like they would if Jesus was not God. Oh, yes some protestants … maybe even many do the same thing. So see the world is full of those convince they will dwell in heaven when … they likely will not. Finally, Jesus spent some of his time blasting the ritually religious. If God loved all the pomp and circumstance provided by the priestly garbs of various ranks and all the dead liturgy and ceremony. He had that in Judaism. Why recreate it in some other form? God walked with Adam in the cool of the day … with sin removed … we too can walk with God any part of the day since it is sin that separates.
4. Give Perry some credit for posting here.

Anonymous said...

Dear Anonymous....In your post you stated the scripture where Peter confesses that Christ is God. That was my initial point in this post after hearing Perry Stone call an angel in the Book of Revelation as Christ. That is very disturbing to me as a Catholic.
I only wish to point out that this man (Perry Stone) needs to be viewed with CAUTION.
He talks fast and slings scripture verses like nobodys business!! LOL I do not think it is a waste of time to discuss these things. As someone who wishes to follow Christ we need to be careful of all the so-called "prophecy experts" around today. And sadly, there are many Catholics who do not know their faith very well. I however, do know many that do!
I think there are a lot of factors that go into this. People are not LIVING the faith anymore. Rather, we are becoming more "wordly"
and want to go with the flow. Tolerance is the only acceptable belief nowadays. Anyhow, I am serious about my faith and am trying to follow Christ, his Church..his teachings the best I can. Thanks to his GRACE! I think we need a Catholic REVIVAl and actually that is happening.
I have to disagree with you that liturgy is "dead" I love the liturgy. Christianity is the FULFILLMENT of Judaism. Jesus came to fulfill the law not abolish it. Why did God even bother then to do any of those things in the old testament if they didn't matter. The passover feast was to be celebrated FOREVER and it still is in the Catholic church. We now celebrate the Mass which is the passover of Christ. Liturgy of the Word...and Liturgy of the Eucharist. We come to the Lords Table and receive his body and blood in HOLY COMMUNION. This is not "pomp and circumstance" We are doing as Jesus commanded at the Last Supper. He never said it was a symbol. Only protestants teach that.
You need to realize that the Passover sacrafice was not complete until the Jews ATE the Lamb (that had been offered). The lambs pointed to Christ. Jesus is our passover Lamb.
Not a symbol.

To Suzanne who is a Perry Stone Daughters of Rachal member and all other Perry "protectors". (Funny after Perry commented suddenly Perry fans appeared out of the woodwork) You said that we had to have first been to his campmeetings and watch Manna Fest faithfully before we can respond...That's me. I have travelled to many different states to see Perry. His annual Campmeetings first in Dalton then in Chatanooga at Ron's church. So I know Perry. With that said some will recieve my words, some will deem me critical, some will agree. Here's we go:
I used to believe that Perry was cutting edge with his prophetic ministry...He is within the WoF movement. Once you get out there is a world of cutting edge Christian prophecy guys out there.
I never missed an opportunity to see him live. Anywhere in the south. What happened to me was this: After praying for discernment as a primary focal point of my prayers, I believe it to be that important...God answered my prayers. I started recieving discernment. Be careful what you pray for...because I was the happiest little Word of Faith believer in Ga. I went was a member of a large Pentecostal WoF church and was getting slain with the best of them. Then God started to show me some things. He started to move me out of the WoF movement. He showed me that so many WoF'ers depended on "EXTRA-biblical" teachings. The church I went to...on a major WoF church in Ga. does not even offer a single bible study program! Anyway once I started seeing clearly, that so many Pentecostals hide behind an "anointing" as if anything they say under this anointing was GOD. Sound familiar? It is usually extra-biblical...what they say under this "anointing." And if you start to listen with an open bible to W0F'ers on TBN...WHILE they are under this so-called anointing...you will start to notice they are saying things that are NOT scriptural. Well, how is this possible if an "ANOINTING" is the presence of the Holy Ghost upon them? God will not contradict his own Word. So the anointing must be false.
Perry I still like, I will not call him a false prophet.... But I have some huge problems with him. 'Anonymous' said everything that Perry teaches is straight from the BIble. If you have seen Perry as often as I have you can not deny this: At the end of many of Perry's meetings he calls forth those that want to speak in tongues. He says two things. First he says: "Now hurry on up here if you want to recieve the gift of tongues, because in a few minutes the Anointing is going to fall and you will need to be ready." Then 2nd he says,(as the music builds) He says, "everybody ready the Anointing is about to fall when I count to 3 it will fall and everyone with a prayer language needs to start praying in your prayer tongues...ready? One, two, (screams) THREE...(loudness ensues, people screaming out tongues, Perry says...KEEP PRAYING, LOUDER....and everyone starts screaming out tongues...Then Perry says," If you want to learn the gift of tongues just put your tongue at the roof of your mouth..and start saying DA DA DA DA DA ....let the spirit do the rest...Okay we have one over here that has started praying in tongues, one over there..Glory be to God..they are new tongues all over this place...KEEP IT GOING"...Perry walks around laying some hands ..showing people how to shape their mouths...then many times after about 20 minutes...Perry will sneak out the back at this point and the prayers go on for a while then the host preacher wraps it up and it is over.

For those that say everything Perry teaches is out of the bible...Where is this?
Where does the bible say that the gifts are teachable?
Where does the bible say we should all pray in tongues in public without an interpretor?
Where does the bible say that the "falling" of the Holy Spirit is at the BECKON CALL of a Pentecostal Preacher...who then once it does "fall", teachings unbiblical practices?

Where does it say that you can learn the gifts on your own or have an "anointed Preacher" teach you?

The problem here is that Perry can not although I pray that he does one day...he can not/will not SHAKE the WoF movement off of himself.
It is his bread and butter.
So many WoF'ers believe that the presence of the Holy Spirit is made evident ONLY through he gifts of tongues..this is also unscriptural.

I have seen Perry Stone at the church I attended (about 10 times) speak reverantly and postively of Willaim Branham the Heretic. BUT Branham was an old timey Pentecostal WoF'er that showed a lot of "gifts" and even though he claimed to be the angel of the Apocolypse from Rev. 3 incarnate ...many like Todd Bentley still cling to his powers. (notice I said powers and not teachings or anointing).
I have several other issues I will only mention one more. I have heard Perry Stone refer to George W. Bush as an anointed man of God and is a true Christian who will one day be vindicated for the WMD's and Iraq. More than a few times I have heard this.
So here is my question to Perry. ( I have asked him through e-mails can't get a response...I know he's busy)
If GWB is such an anointed Man of God...what exactly is Skull and Bones? What is being a 33rd freemason mean to Perry? What does NWO mean to Perry? Why did the anointed man of God GWB tell Charlie Gibson on GMA that Muslims, Christians and Athiests all go to heaven? Why did GWB tell Charle Gibson on GMA that Jews, Muslims and Christians all worship the same god? And finally if GWB is such a learned Christian and a man of God...why was he SO committed to TEAR Jerusalem down the midDle in defience of the Word of God? Bringing a curse upon this nation!
Perry refers to GWB as an anointed man of God...so Perry partners maybe you can help me out here.

To Jinnie
Why won't any Perry fans answer MY Question?
All I ask is Can Jesus be an Angel? Perry says he can. It is on his program. I gave the date and episode. This is an easy one..Jesus is GOD. NOT AN ANGEL. I happen to think that Mr. Stone is a BIG TIME false prophet. If you take the time to read the Writings of the early CHURCH FATHERS this kind of thing happened with Simon the Gnostic. He too performed miracles in the name of Jesus..but he was not sent by Jesus and his teachings were false. By the way, America is a breeding ground for these kind of people. Anyone can start a "church". Anyone can claim to be a prophet. Only the Catholic Church goes back to the Apostles. Check the FACTS. Don't believe everything these people tell you. Check the history of the so-called New World Order, the Rapture etc.... Isn't it nice that Perry can profit off of all this "stuff" !!!
He's laughing all the way to the bank.

To one of the many anonymous': Why do we need a Catholic revival when God pulled his church out of the apostacy of the catholic church? What era Catholic church would you want to return to? Pope Leo and his assasin squads? Or perhaps 1481 where in Seville alone, the Holy Office burned 2000 persons, and the bones and effigies of another 2000 and another 16,000 condemned by the Catholic Church. Or the days of the Inqusition, or the Hugenots, or the Albigenses, or the Waldenses, and other Christian who were massacred, tortured, and burned simply because they refused to aligned themselves with hereitical teachings and dogmas of the Catholic church. That kind of Catholic revival? Looks like there is a "revival" of sorts going on now in the European Church and making things very stcky for Benedict.

St. Patrick said...

Yowza!! Jimmy where do you get your information? Exactly when did God "pull his Church out of apostosy? and was that some sort of rapture? LOL I guess you haven't read about all the murders of Catholics in England by the "Church of England" or the murder of Catholics in Ireland by the protestants. There is NOT ONE heretical teaching in the Catholic Church. Your "prophet" cannot tell the difference between Jesus and an ANGEL and not ONE single commentator on here has the decency to respond to my ONE Question about him.
Its just so much easier to divert attention away than to respond to my question.

I am going to assume that Perry Stone fans do not care about theology. They do not care about WHO Jesus is because nobody can explain why Mr Stone would say this. If my priest called Jesus an angel I would have to ask him for an explanation.

As for the Church...it has so far survived 2,000 years of trials. It survived Judas, it survived heretics (like the ones you mentioned above) it has survived despite bad people in the Church. The Gates of hell have NOT prevailed, and they won't....because Jesus said so :)

who started YOUR church? Jesus started mine. did your church decide what scriptures would be in the bible? NO...the Catholic Church did.

I would like to give a thoughtful reply to your comment. I think that as Christians (followers of Christ) we should be able to have a civil discussion about our differences? I only posted on here because of Perry Stones heretical statement (strong word, but necessary) Not even you had the courage to address the statement that he made. Every one so far has chosen to attack my beliefs instead. That doesn't seem very Christ-like to me. I have been taught that Jesus is part of the God-head Father, son & holy spirit. This is known as the trinity? If we agree on that, then I ask..AGAIN can Jesus be an angel too?
If not: then Perry Stone is teaching heresy..
I gave the episode..watch it yourself. There is nothing wrong with questioning a so-called teacher and "prophecy" expert. If I never mentioned that I was Catholic then people might have been willing to listen. But hey, its more fun to attack Catholics than listen to one. I'm sure Jesus would be proud of you all...right?

I agree that Perry Stone is off base thus this original post. No argument there.

John 3:3 says, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Are you born again?

just bread? or bread from heaven?

Cathy....keep reading

John 3:5 Jesus answered "Amen, Amen I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.

John 3:22 After this, Jesus and his disciples went into the region of Judea where he spent time with them baptizing.

Of course I am born again..I am baptized

I like the gospel of John A lot....have you read further to John 6?

Cathy Palmer said...

Being born again means being born from above... a spiritual rebirth; not be baptized in or with water.

Go here to hear my brief testimony of how I became born again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANm1qNoBFAQ

Cathy...please read John 6 read the whole thing and then please notice that after Jesus keeps insisting that his flesh is real food and his blood real drink etc...Many disciples said "THIS SAYING IS HARD..WHO CAN LISTEN TO IT?" These Jewish folks took Jesus LITERALLY and they left him. also notice that this takes place in verse 6:66 (hmmm) As a result of THIS, many of his disciples returned to their former way of life. Please understand that for 1500 years ALL Christians believed communion to be Christs body and blood. (not a symbol) Read it and pray about it. I understand you don't think the Catholic Church is true...but try to be a little objective here. Why did Jesus keep insisting that it was? He never watered this down...he let the disciples go. He asked the twelve "do you also want to leave?

We take Jesus at his word!! Even if we can't fully understand it.

Anonymous said...

Cathy...the bible does say born from above but you have to read more than just one verse. So many people isolate a single verse and don't read whats before it or after it. LOL Right after that Jesus says you must be born of WATER and SPIRIT. (I got my bible right next to me!!) and then after Jesus has this chat with Nicodemus they (Jesus and the disciples) go into Judea where they spent time baptizing.
John was also baptizing in Aenon because there was an abundance of WATER there, and people came to be baptized!! Thats from the bible, and you are telling me that water is not required? You are only using one verse of that whole two pages that I'm looking at.

Cathy Palmer said...

Jesus is speaking a spiritual truth. People are not to literally eat Him, eat God - that is totally ridiculous.

John 6:63 says, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life."

In John 3:3, one of the Greek definitions for the word 'born' is "of God making men his sons through faith in Christ's work".

And in the Greek, one of the definitions for the word 'again' is "from above, from a higher place; of things which come from heaven or God".

Being water baptized is good. I have been baptized. But water baptism does not mean you automatically will go to heaven; you must be spiritually reborn. Also, a person doesn't have to be baptized to have eternal life. The thief on the cross said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom." And Jesus said unto him, "Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." Luke 23:42,43

I took the time to listen to your testimony. You seem like a really nice person and very sincere. I think we would actually be friends if we knew each other!! I do have non-catholic friends who have the same mis-conceptions that you have. You say that we worship Mary? I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have heard this! It is NOT true.
Catholics have a lot of love for Mary as well as Jesus because she is his mother and OUR mother. We see her as the perfect disciple because she said YES to GOD.
I can see that you don't like the Pope either.
You have probably been told that he is the "anti-christ" or just some mean guy in Rome that makes up rules for us to (break) LOL
kidding...
The thing to understand here is that Christianity is the fulfillment of Judaism. You have a protestant background and that is all you know. You say that the Church's teachings are not in the bible...but I just showed you two (in the above post) regarding baptism (with water) and communion (the real presence). I can show you more if you like?
Jesus prayed that we would all be ONE...what does that mean to you?

We probably agree on more than you think. I am glad to see how Jesus changed your life and mine too!

Cathy Palmer said...

According of Catholicism...
Mary was redeemed at the point of her conception.
Mary was preserved from original sin.
Mary remained free from personal sin.
Mary was sinless and co-redemptrix with Christ.
Mary was the cause of her own salvation, as well as the human race.
We have life through Mary.
Mary is Mother of God.
Mary was a perpetual virgin.
James and Joseph were sons of another Mary.
Jesus was Mary's only son, but she is the spiritual mother of all.
Mary cooperated in human salvation.
The Church is in Mary.
It is Mother and Son in the work of salvation.
Mary joined herself with Jesus' sacrifice by enduring the intensity of His suffering.
After her death, Mary was resurrected Bodily in Heaven as Queen over all things.
Mary's resurrection is part of Jesus' resurrection.
Mary is co-savior in restoring supernatural life to souls.
Mary's Intercession from Heaven brings gifts of salvation.
Mary is Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix.
Mary doesn't diminish Christ's unique mediation.
Basic to Christian worship is devotion to Mary.
The faithful go to Mary in their times of dangers and needs.
The epitome of the whole gospel, the rosary, expresses devotion to Mary.
The Church Venerates Mary.
Mary cooperated with everything Jesus accomplished.
Mary now shares in the glory of her Son's resurrection.
Mary is Mother of the Church.
The Church in Paradise is centered around Jesus and Mary.
The prayers and good works of Mary and the saints attained their own salvation and cooperated in the saving of others.
Mary is all-holy, the example of holiness and Model of the Church.
To improperly use Mary's name is a violation of the second commandment which forbids the abuse of God's name.
Catholics are to Pray TO Mary, the ark of the covenant.
We can entrust our cares and petitions to Mary.
Mary is the Mother of Mercy, the All-Holy One.
We are to surrender "the hour of our death" wholly to her care.
Prayer TO Mary is exalted.
We can pray with and to Mary.
The Church entrusts supplications and praises to Mary.

Scripture never says any of the above about his mother. In fact, in Matthew 12, when she and his brother and sisters came to him, Jesus replied with this:

"But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."

http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&c=12&v=1&t=KJV#top

We are NOT to edify anyone above the Lord Jesus Christ who is God our Creator.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." John 1:1-5

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14

Once you become born again, this all becomes crsytal clear because the Holy Spirit leads us to the wonderful Truth!

Cathy has been spot on, please folks read matthew 7 in context in sted of making a doctrine out of one particular verse, so the Bible says do not judge, the Bible also says their is no God.

and yes it would be propert to take it in context the fool says in his heart their is no God, Psalm 14:1-3

While many who defend Parry Stone using the first bit of Matthew 7 and omiting the rest, and since we are on the subject of Perry Stone, we suddently all take positions that we are apologetic for Perry rather then the Bible, is the Bible under attack here ?????

in the same chapter of Matthew 7 read it futher down, 15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

here we are to exocise our Critical faculties, yes and this means Matthew 7 instructs us to Judge to make a choice weather what we take is Good or Bad fruit, if we cannot Judge on this bases, we are not only being nieve but willingly ignorant, the article provided that is fetured on my site concerning Perry Stone is not judging Parry Stone, but judging what he teaches does this make him a heretic etc.

What is his fruit, I know that Perry Stone has been involved with Paula White http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woF8KVHhoME and others presneting his teaching on a meal that heals, bordering the prosperity teachers, and also making claims that cannot be varified.

such as "thousands of people making decisions for Christ" anecdotal evedence, the Bible does not record mass conversions in the last days but a falling from truth, truth is no longer the isssue.

Perry is also ecumenical not suprising that his background is in Roman Catholosism.

Also been fetured on TBN nothing godly about this channel.

To Cathy some people just dont want to hear, but it is good you stand by your conviction and you should not give in or stop, the division is not caused by you, it is caused by men like Perry Stone, Benny Hinn and others.

Our sister Cathy is correct in accord with Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

The Question is does P.S qaulify a marking I would probly be one to say that the offence is caused by false teaching amongst many other things and believe that Parry would qualify in reference to Romans 16:17

Futher more in 1 Timothy 6:3 - 5 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Perry Stone is very deceitful. I receive his VOE magazine every so often and occasionally watch his TV program. It seems he has an extremely Zionist view and promotes the neocon agenda. He blames the liberal democrats for all the evil brought into the U.S. Just to be clear, I am not a liberal democrat. If he had the discernment he claims, he would know the evil that both political parties were involved in, such as occult rituals at the Bohemian Grove, the Skull and Bones society at Yale, and the Freemasons. Mr. Stone continually defended George W. Bush who is a member of all three, but he continued to assure anyone who questioned the President, that God had told Perry that he was God's choice. It seems that like Pat Robertson, John Hagee, Jerry Falwell, and Rick Warren, he is just another pawn of the Illuminati, but sadly he is leading good people in the wrong direction all in the name of the Lord. "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." Ephesians 5:11

Oh my goodness! how I regret stumbabling across this site,my stomach is in knots and I could throw up! I like Perry Stone but I have been questioning lately all Preachers. It seems like they are All selling what was freely given.I am not concerned about my salvation because I KNOW Jesus has saved me. Now I need to make the decision as to what faith or preacer that i should learn from. One that sells the gospel or gives the gospel. I attend a church where the pastor wont finish his sermon in the morning in order to get you back to church that night. And it does seem like it is always give give give and one is so burdened and ashamed when you cant always put money in the plate. I do not feel that Jesus meant it to be about so much money. If your a preacher of the gospel I feel that you should ask for donations but never put a dollar figure on what GOD has given. People will give and can learn so much from the these teachings but find themselves able to give but not the always expected amount. Remember if your ministry is from God that he will provide the needs to get the gospel out other than guilting poor people into giving what they do not have. being born is a money maker, death is a big money maker and selling the word of God seems to be a money maker. I mean no harm in what I have said but it really does confuse me as to the intentions of all people.

Cathy Palmer said...

You are right... The LORD Jesus Christ says in Matthew 10:8, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."

And in Acts 8 when Simon wanted to pay for the power of the Holy Ghost, Peter totally rebuked him:

"And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God."

The church today for the most part is apostate and not reading, teaching nor obeying the truth according to the Scriptures.

We each must trust God to teach us through the Holy Spirit:

"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."
1 John 2:27

I used to enjoy listening Perry Stone, especially how he intertwined the OT with the NT. (I am Jew by birth, saved by grace). Once or twice a year he'd come visit our church for a few days (I no longer attend that church). He started talking about secret government conspiracies that he got from an unnamed source in the govt, or trying to link specific events (e.g. katrina) to homosexual rallies; He claimed that Canaan raped Noah. He taked about pre-adamic lost souls dwelling in the depths of the Bermuda Triangle. More and more his teachings were from apocrypha or specualation, which he prefaced "this is just my belief," or even worse. It's as if he simple couldn't provide sound biblical doctrine without taking the message into Fantasyland.

In the end, I could no longer reconcile his teachings with the Word of God in that we are supposed to yoke ourselves to Christ and take on His burden (to reach the lost by showing them the love of Christ).

Perry says these things (to the audience) to get folks to recognize that the hand of evil is drawing closer and that people need to repent and turn to Christ. But nowhere in his messages was Christ glorified, nowhere in his messages was there exhortation to go out and lead good Christian lives among the non-believers. At the root of his messages were fear and fodder for political conspiracy thriller. Yet folks in the church were eating it up.

False prophet no as I never heard him "prophecize". Self-deceived and ear twitcher to those who allow themselves to be deceived most likely.

MY reply to the above -

I can't say Stone is being paid by zionist jews but what we were warned about in Scripture by the Apostles was from the first Century A. D. This is the END of the age and we are seeing and hearing the mother load of all they warned about. I AGREE with the poster of the statement above though he was having problems saying it in English I appreciate his effort. I totally understand what he is saying.

Americans are naive anyway. To think those are the true Israelites running Israel is the biggest hoax of all. They adnit themselves they are Ashkenaz which means they are GERMANS. NO blood of the 12 Tribes in them whatsoever. See Genesis 10:2. They come from the line of Japheth not Shem. They are GENTILES and therefore false Jews. THAT is who are coming to Israel claiming to be the return of the Israelites fulfilling end time prophecy.

The true Israelites will return to Israel and Jerusalem with the true Messiah. THOSE that have been ruling Israel since 70 A.D. do not even believe Messiah has come. So they are planning the rebuilding of the Temple when as the poster said Jerusalem was left desolate that the land may rest until His second coming when the true Children of Israel scattered by the Lord into the nations all over the world will return WITH Him to Jerusalem. ALL Old Testament Prophets and the Apostles agreed with this.

Nowhere in Scriptures were GENTILES ever promised land inheritance in Israel. Only the twelve tribes of Israel and their pure descendants. Seed is determined by the father not the mother. That is some real weird teaching the "Israelis" and "jew-ish" people have come up with to try and keep control of the land of Israel in GENTILE hands.

If people would just read Genesis 10 of the seed of Noah's three sons you would know those people in Israel are NOT the true seed of Abraham and don't worry because when the Lord is done there will be no doubt when the true CHILDREN OF ISRAEL return home. The false jews are waiting on the false messiah and therefore are trying to erect a new temple for their one world Babylonian system. But Scriptures say this--

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Revelation 21:22

Read Romans 11 THAT'S what's happening right now. Right now.

Cathy...i am glad that someone out there is shedding light on this. I grew up in the christian church. I grew up in a penecostal church (Church of God in Christ). I have often been weary of stone and others with how clever they manipualate scriptures in their presentations in order to push an agenda that is not really about Christ. The fact that they are on tv does not bother me. The fact that they are rich doesn't even bother me. What bothers me is how stone will take scriptures and twist and stretch them to fit his political beliefs. We are supposed to be teaching God's word to get people saved. Its not only about having faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it's about repenting and obeying God's word as well. We should be teaching holiness, which is what we all will be judged by. We shouldn't be teaching like stone does...that somehow your salvation is dependant on which person you vote for. He constantly derives from the bible that somehow prez. Obama is evil and that democrats are evil and Bush and republicans are somehow trying to lead us to God. He teaches that somehow if you dont agree with this false premise that jewish law and all that stuff that he espouses is essential for salvation. Let me be clear. It doesnt matter what political party you vote for. Both parties fall short of God's word when lined up against it. So why should it matter who you vote for. God is not concerned with who you vote for, he is concerned about our soul. He is concerned about your faith in him and your obedience to his word. He is and always will be in control. I doubt if he will be saying in judgement "hey you voted for a democrat...sorry you can't eneter" or vice versa. I always am weary of these televangilist that like to have all of thess so called patriotic back drops and props. they scream this ideology of american exceptionalism in the pulpit. The fact that PS is trying to push alot of this rightwing garbage...tells me that he is simply a political activist that trys to disguise himself as a man of God. he is always trying to say how obama isn't saved or is evil...but i have to ask PS...is PS saved??? Is PS living holy??? I read a post that he left on here about all of the ministries and the good that they do.. i applaud that...but is he teaching faith and obedience. Is he living a holy life himself..The bible says obedience is better than sacrifice. Just because you or your ministries do all these things that simply impress men, means nothing..are you living a holy life is what counts.. also his whole jewish thing needs to stop..the jews or anyone who doesn't believe that Christ was the son of God need to get it together before he comes back...this whole right-wing religious movement smells like that of the pharasees in the bible. They love to call Jesus name and look the part...but their hearts are far from him. People need to read the word for themselves...this patriotic guns and the flag crap is nothing but a false religion...God said that he has no respective persons...there wont be any national flags in heaven. nothing wrong with being patriotic about your country or being in a political party mr. Perry Stone, but what exactly does expressing love for america and being a republican have to do with JESUS..i don't have any degrees in theology or any tv shows but i have an understanding of God's word and mr. stone i'm ready to teach you whenever you are ready. I can't say where your heart is but you obviously have a misunderstanding of God's word...sorry so long winded here

Hey Perry,
Could you elaborate for the "wolf chasers" your teaching on how the Jews will be saved because of they "sacrifice" they made during the holocaust. I heard you live a few years back teaching that the Nazi ovens were similar to old testament places of sacrifice and that the Jews did not need to come through Jesus to enter in to heaven.

Is the International Church of God, that aires the Sunday teaching on the armor of God is Fake or Real. In other words are they false teachers. I would like too know your comment also on The Church of the living God which also aired the program Tomorrows World.

Cathy Palmer said...

I am not familiar with the International Church of God nor the The Church of the living God. Best to pray, research and trust the Holy Spirit to show you.

Here is the International Church of God's statement of faith:
http://intlcog.org/statement-of-faith

Sadly today most churches are apostate and using corrupt modern versions of the Bible.

"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."
1 John 2:27

I just started reading this blog today it looks like it goes on for a long time. This last post by Cathy made me kinda wonder why we Christians are in such a mess havin to figure out which Church is not apostate. Which preacher we can trust. I cannot for the life of me understand how God could be behind this kind of chaos. Now I saw this fella Stone on TV and he gives me a bad feeling. So I am trying to check him out a bit befer I go buying that meal from him. Did the apostles sell communion too?

Cathy Palmer said...

Thanks for the comment... your question brought this verse to mind in Matthew 10:8:

"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."
- The Lord Jesus Christ

so then are u saying that I shouldn get the meal from Brother Stone? Where do I go for that communion. I hadn been to Church in like 30 years now. I have some family that are Lutheryn but I just dont know with so many churches around these days. I kinda just watch church on tv. Its awfully confusing. I just got saved again but the preacher is telling me not to worry cause im savd
anyway. I want to belong to a church but now i'm not sure anymore who to believe. The bible is not clear on telling me what church to go to howcome it doesnt say that?

Cathy Palmer said...

If you want to do communion, do it your home.

As you read your Bible, preferably the King James version, ask the Lord Jesus Christ what He would have you to do. He will show you.

Most all the churches today are apostate and not teaching the truth.

The Holy Spirit will teach you. Start your day on your knees, read the scriptures and seek to please the Lord. He will do the rest.

blessings,
Cathy

My name is Gary
@anonymous who doesn't know what church to go to
Matthew 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Jesus is speaking he says he will build his church which is the church of Christ the church is married to Jesus so should carry his name.

Be careful many "church of Christ" really aren't churches of Christ like United or international or ingles de cristo read their beliefs it goes against the Holy word of God.

1 church 1 faith 1 LORD and 1 baptism

@Cathy
Baptism is necessary for salvation it's a divine step of salvation HEAR BELIEVE REPENT CONFESS BE BAPTIZED
Jesus says this himself

Mark 16:15-16
15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Jesus is speaking.
Jesus gave a mandate to the disciples.
Jesus told the disciples to go into the entire world and preach the Gospel.
Jesus said the one who believes and is baptized shall be saved.
Jesus said those who did not believe shall be damned.

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

You receive the Holy Spirit in baptism not in a "sinners" prayer.

Watch this see how the Spirit of God allowed for the eneuch to be saved and caught up phillip after the enuech was saved.

Acts 8:29-40
29Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

36And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

39And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

40But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

Philippians 3:15
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

27And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Acts 16:31-34
31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. 34And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

Please find a strong godly church of Christ it's not a denomination there are not multiple ways to God in Christianity just Christ new age movement/satanism wants u 2 beeleve there r multiple ways to heaven and God and all religions worship the same god this too has infiltrated the church with denominations and is false and a division put ur faith in Jesus and grow in Christ not in confusion I believe God has used me a meager man to be of use to the spreading of his Gospel and kingdom I hope you well God Bless and may I give you a hug in heaven take care. Hi Cathy. I was interested in perry stone an upon further study found out he was in the occult. I took the time to watch your touching brief biography of how you came to Jesus. I happened to see your youtube name is Cathyfrom pensacola. I knew that name was familiar.. and upon further inspection I recognized it as the seriously occultic movement of "torronto blessing/pensacola blessing" in which memebers were "slain in the spirit" and squirming on the ground with Holy Ghost "laughter" such damnable and demonic practices forbidden and warned of in God's Holy Word. I hope to God you aren't claiming allegiance or "representing" were you are from and paying homage to them. I hope God has shed his light on you and showed you the truth in his Word. God Bless you peace and blessings in Jesus' name be unto you. Amen.

I get a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach about Perry Stone . He says that heaven is shaped like a pyramid, and that animals have NO souls , you will never be reunited with that faithful pet who lived with you, loved you, and never judged you. That is my idea of hell .

notimpressed said...

Perry, I find it funny that you boast about how many souls you have saved, baptized, etc. and how you distribute items to people free of charge, yet you do not defend what you teach very well. Even the Mormon, JW, & other cults claim to "save" thousands of souls and boast of their distributing free materials, and that scholars and such are in agreement with their teachings. I feel badly for those who have bought into your WOF claptrap, you should be ashamed.

of course I know none of you think he's WOF....listen to a few of his messages (as I've already done) and hear for yourselves.

I just want to share my story with you. I've had some very hard times growing up as most of young people do. As time progressed I had a hard time reasoning with why do we suffer so much in this life. Jesus had suffered in his life on the cross. He stated that if they hatted him they would also hate us who believe in him. So true a statement. Wars, pestilence, false prophets and more. As I kept reading I learned to forgive others. For the reason that they did not khow Jesus. They also did not know Joseph. One day I was at the beach. The answer was right in front of me and everything made sense. Looking at the waves moving to and fro-the demons that Jesus cast out of a possessed man were cast into some pigs and cast into the ocean. The water that is never at rest. All the tears that people have cried relentlessly is like the ocean-restless. So, where do we rest? Yes there is a place of rest. In the arms of Jesus. He loves us and has said If I don't leave the comforter will not come. All the tears are saved in a bottle. We will suffer this life as he did no doubt. The New Jerulsalum will come out of HEAVEN. The people that have suffered as Jesus had suffered in this life have some great relief here. Forgive others, live this life, do not worry, LOVE the one who suffered also the comforter is with us who believe in Jesus and obey his teachings. The day is approaching on us ( if we live or die through this time) that the vial of wrath will be poured out on the earth. I'm confident I know where my spirit will go. Are you? So I rest with the comforter and assurance that Jesus is always with me. Life is short. Rich people gather money hoping that will save them. Wars will continue with the fears of terrorism, the changing of the weather brings tornados, devastation, people are at unrest about loosing money and homes and loved ones and more, oil and on and on. I'm comforted by the the truth that Jesus gave me. I'm with you ALWAYS. I love all of you and I do wish you can also be comforted by Jesus.

Came across this looking for info on Perry Stone since I know a few that have started attending that organization. Really pretty good info, but you almost lost me entirely to "If we are not reading the Scriptures (the King James version and not the corrupt modern versions) and obeying the Truth, we will be deceived."

You really should reel that in a bit, even the King James Version is "modern" and corrupted by men... primarily King James. I know there are plenty of modern versions that are awfully watered down and should be avoided at all costs, but there are plenty that get enough right to not lump them into the category of corrupted. Case and point, why is KJV the only translation that uses the word Easter, a pagan holiday. Just a translation, none of us read the original or we would never get it.

Thank you for your analysis on Perry Stone.

Considering the fact that prophecy ended with Malachi and will not return until the time of Messiah, I would have to say that anyone claiming to be a prophet, could be classified as a false prophet. It really IS that simple.

Hello Sister Cathy,

I do hope that you receive this in the spirit of love with the understanding that we are to prove ALL things;
1 Thessalonians 5:21 ..."Prove all things; hold fast that which is good"...

What you said about Israel NOT being the Western Christian Nation is in error. I ask that you give careful consideration to the following information in the link; below.

In 1970 at 14 years old I received Christ as my Savior.
I was told by the Pentecostal Preacher that had been ministering to me to read my Bible and believe it, that it is the word of God and is the truth. So reading things like Gen. chapter 49 and Deut. 33 I began to understand that what the world said about the Jews and Israel was not in-line with the word of God. And over many years of study and research, I discovered that the enemies of Christ and His Church had perpetrated the greatest fraud ever, and that is the "Gods Chosen" myth.
Now hear me out. OUR God is a GOD of promise. And HE is able to do ALL that He said of Jacob/ISRAEL.

The Bible says that Israel would be as;

“The stars of heaven” Gen: 22:17
“A thousand million” Gen. 24:60, (ONE BILLION)
“sands of the sea”. Gen. 22:17 Isa.10:22, Hosea 1:10
The fact that the Jews only number around 14 million. Kind of shorts the Bible.
Also “a company of nations” and “a multitude of nations”, Gen.35:11 Gen 49:19
And just how many JEW nations are there, or have ever been?
The bible also proclaims that Israel would possess the gate of his enemies. Gen.22:17. Umm, the JEWS seem to be SURROUNDED!

Why don't these scriptures fit the so called "Gods Chosen"?
http://www.edomsthorn.wordpress.com/why-dont-these-scriptures-fit-the-so-called-gods-chosen

HERE are those that say they are Jews, and are not, Rev. 2:9 and 3:9
http://www.edomsthorn.wordpress.com

Jesus said "My sheep hear My Voice" and I believe that most of JUDAH heard Him, but there may be some today that are of JUDAH that call themselves "Jews" today.

God bless you, and I thank you for the information about PERRY.

I've also prayed just as long for a discerning spirit but I have/ feel it not. My soul is.deeply troubled. Since the Holy Spirit is a gift given to those who have been saved - what would this mean for me? That I'm not truly saved? Sincerely, Al

Cathy Palmer said...

Al, more importantly, are you born again? Feelings can be misleading. Ours is a walk of faith and faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Keep reading the Scriptures as you seek and serve Jesus Christ. Proverbs 3 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding. In all our ways acknowledge him and he will direct our path. We are to not be wise in our own eyes. We are to fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to our navel, and marrow to our bones. May the Lord Jesus Christ guide you each day of your journey with His love, peace and joy through the Holy Ghost I pray. http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Jhn&c=1&t=KJV

I know that there are many apostate preachers, false prophets and those who intentionally deceive for either evil intent or financial gain out there. My path to Christ was long and interrupted by hypocrites and preachers who could not answer my questions. It was Billy Graham that first inspired me to seek salvation. ( I have since learned many unsettling things about Graham.) After more than thirty years of seeking truth, it was ultimately through atheists that I found answers and accepted God's gift.

Since that time I have listened and read and studied. I have yet to find a preacher or person who I completely agree with on scripture...including myself. What I believed in the beginning has changed with further study. I have always been the type that questions everything and everyone. I have also discovered that it is often those I agree with the least or not at all that have prompted me to delve deeper into God's word to find the truth.

There is an old saw that I believe is appropriate: "Eat the meat and spit out the bones."

“IDOLATRY of Ministry”
Below is a copy of a letter that I sent out to a number of Ministries in the last part of 2011. The majority of these individuals and Ministries are guilty of “IDOLATRY of Ministry.” In fact, “IDOLATRY of Ministry” is a very widespread condition that exists in the Church today, and is a GREAT POISON to the Body of Christ. I am sure that this letter had little or no affect upon those who received and read this letter. However, this is a very serious issue in the Church and needs to be addressed!

Dear Sir, I am writing to you in regards to the widespread misrepresentation of God’s Written Word that has permeated our Christian TV airways. It should be every Christian’s burden and priority to want to see that the INTEGRITY of God’s Written Word is UPHELD to the fullest.
When I watch these telethons for raising money on some of the Christian TV networks, it is as if I am watching a horror act in a carnival show. The “MANIPULATION” of God’s Written Word that is being used for raising money is REPULSIVE, not to mention a number of false Prophets and false Teachers that are ministering on these Christian TV networks.
Also, it is very disturbing to see the number of Christian Ministries that are still willing to purchase air-time on these networks and to see Christians who are invited guests who are willing to go on these networks to share their thoughts, even though these Christian networks have clearly demonstrated little concern for upholding the INTEGRITY of God’s Written Word, especially during their money raising telethons.
I know that most of those who do this, feel that their ministries and what they have to share is important and will be of benefit to others. With that in mind, they feel that the good clearly outweighs the bad. The BIG problem with this type of reasoning is that God’s Written Word clearly tells us that we are to “WITHDRAW OURSELVES” from those who teach false doctrine (handle the Word of God deceitfully). God’s Written Word does not tell us that as long as some good results are coming forth from our efforts that then God makes an exception and then it becomes okay if God’s Written Word is “MANIPULATED” for the purpose of raising money for a good cause. Also, God’s Written Word does not tell us that as long as our intentions are good and we are sharing Jesus with others which will be of benefit, that then it becomes okay to completely disregard the Lord’s instruction to us to “WITHDRAW OURSELVES” from those who teach false doctrine (handle the Word of God deceitfully). NO WORK is so important that in the process of that work, the Word of God becomes COMPROMISED. The Lord never contradicts Himself, and the Lord is not a God of COMPROMISE!
We must ask ourselves, what is more important, a great desire to see the INTEGRITY of God’s Written Word UPHELD, Or because we have such a great desire to minister and share our thoughts, from those who have “SUCH LITTLE REGARD” for God’s Written Word, that they make a mockery out of HIS Written Word by the “MANIPULATIVE” TWISTING and DISTORTION of Scripture ???

There is something wrong with him. I heard him preach that his wife lost a child in her womb. And she prayed to God as to why it happened. He said God told his wife wouldn't you rather lose the baby then there be something wrong with it (physically) Perry said he had had a vision his daughter they lost had a physical problem. Ummm, so with this reasoning, that means all the children who are born with special needs would be better off it God had "aborted" them in their mother's womb? What a sick thing to say. I do not believe God would say this. Special needs children, developmental issues or physical disformities are a blessing. That is sick

As to "Can Jesus be an angel" if you remember when Abraham was told Sarah would have a baby in the following year, the three men who approached Abraham were called angels, but one was God thought Abraham. Jesus is God. He can be whatever He needs to be to reach whoever He wants to reach. Also, on the other side, Satan can disguise himself to be many things. It sounds like, to me, that he is talking through some of the comments I have read. The Bible tells us to discern, to test the spirits. There are good ones and bad ones. Satan knows his time is short and he is fighting with all his demons to lead us away from the One true God.

I'd be interested to know if it was you that made the graphics for the pic False Teacher? It doesn't really matter but I must tell you what happened. I was watching a video that had Perry Stone in it. I got this feeling that what he was saying was not Bible based. You know that gut feeling of discernment we're supposed to recognize? My parents own Key of David Publishing and one of his books looked so similar to the font and graphics they use, I decided to look him up.
Now, normally when you look a person up, a graphic, I suppose Google picks for reference would be used, in the small Bio's area on the right of your computer screen. Follow me?
As I stated before, I'd watched something that just didn't sit right with me. And as I don't have much experience with him, I chose to look him up. But...before I even looked him up, I prayed for a Spirit of Discernment and the ability to see the truth, especially these latter days that we are in.
Long story short; the picture you have that says "False Teacher" at the top and then Perry Stone at the bottom was right there, associated with his biography.
I saved the graphic to show my sons and then just for the sake of faith I looked him up again and low & behold, the graphics were different, normal you might say.
I hope I have explained this situation so you might enjoy the miracle with me! God is so good, is He not?

Paul made great effort to tell the churches that he collected offerings not for covetousness (utter self enrichment) but so these funds could be distributed among the poorer churches and to support missionaries. We get all these so called prophecies from men like Stone but they never tell us about the mercy of Christ other than he died for our sins. Yes the servant is worthy of his hire, but he is a servant not a master or king. The Billions taken in by these deceivers could go to show the mercy of Christ but instead goes to glorify the ministers, not godly glorification but glorification by world standards. Scripture equates covetousness with idolatry and we see why. The world idolizes material wealth. The root of all evil is not homosexuality, abortion, or murderers although these things are an abomination, but the love of money (greed) is what Paul declared to be the root of all evil and sin. In other words selfishness are putting ones self up above God and serving the material things of this world rather than GOd is the root of it all. Go back to Eden and see this is true. Christians need to stop making excuses for the extravagant lifestyles of these false ministers and demand the mercy of Christ be practiced and made evident by Christian good works that are administered through the offerings of God. God is not pleased to see a few men jump in bed with the politicians in particular the republicans and grab bag all they can for themselves from church offerings. Perry Stone practically labeled Obama as the anti Christ and said he all the world leaders would fall under his spell in order to create a NEW WORLD ORDER. That did not occur. So this makes him a false prophet. Not endorsing Obama folks, just saying corruption is rampant on both sides and the true ministers of God should stick to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and stay out of the bed of corrupt politicians. They should stop making up things such as God prophesied to them that Trump was anointed next president and Supreme Court Justice Scalia was murdered by Obama loyalist, and Joan Rivers was murdered by Jayzee and Beyounce on behalf of Obama because she accused Michelle Obama of being a transvestite man. These are judgments they have no business making. Judge what the word of God teaches not according to your prejudices and political preferences

I glean whatever information is right and aligns with scripture and as another poster stated, eat the meat and spit out the bones. God will guide me and lead me where He wants me to be and I trust God is able to take care of those He needs to, whether they are false prophets or not. We will all get what we deserve in the end.

How do people defend Stone. He is false prophet, hob nobs with TBN hucksters, makes merchandise on the name of God. If meals that heal work, why does he wear glasses.

Sorry, not only has God answered my prayers. Healed my body, I have personally witnessed healings. By His strips we are healed.LOOK IT UP KJV. The word Trinity isn't in the Bible. The Bible clearly teaches it. Verse after verse....clearly you seem to believe what you are told. Not what you study.Do this in remembrance of Me. What is Communion...it is to remember what Jesus did for us.What did He do, but take on the sins of the world. Yes we take this time to repent, sometimes we claim our healing. It is a price Jesus already paid for on the cross.Salvation is free for the asking. You must believe in Him JOHN 3:16 What is the sinners prayer..but instruction. How would you tell someone who wants to be saved. Having said that, the Bible teaches..salvations is free, least any man should boast.LOOK IT UP. You do know how, right.....

We won't need prophecy when Christ returns

Stone and his ilk are all going to stand and give an account for every word and deed some day just like me, yet held in higher regard(accountability)
Stop throwing away your money and share what you have with the poor.
Curt Landry is just as bad as the lot of them!

Meditating on the spirit part, I remembered the instance when Saul went to inquire about his kingship to the witch of Endor and the spirit of Samuel appeared, that's is how she knew the man in front of her was the king. How would you explain that? God allowed the spirit of a deceased prophet to unveil Saul's intentions, not a demon, not an evil spirit but the spirit of one of His holy prophets who was already dead! My other question is regarding to a "lacking" in the theology of the Western world church: Did Jesus only died to pay for the sins of the world or also to "give life abundant", to give healing through His wounds, and to undo the works of the devil? I am not claiming you are wrong (or right) in your opinion regarding Perry Stone, just that some (not all) of your statements are very biased The fact that you claim only King James version is accurate or worth reading is an example of that!

"Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

I think that I actually did see this particular broadcast that night or at least the re-run. It bogles the mind to think we actually bought into this as if it was somehow from God. I quote from Rick Joyner on a [Its Supernatural] with Sid Roth; Rick stated "God grades on a curve don't ya know". I can believe that Sid Roth would let that one fly and he did without question. Modern so-called Christian TV has been a real hoot, and I dont watch any of it much anymore. Thanks for this info it helps clean out the barn.

Yeah Stanley, it is so sad how many of us have been led astray! By the grace of God, He set us free and put us on the right track. My world got better after praying that the Lord would expose any lies I was believing and heal my heart. It was a bumpy road, but so worth it eventually.
Blessings,
Cathy
