So is the moon flat? is the sun flat? Are the other planets flat? What keeps the oceans from flowing over the edge? Why has no one ever seen the edge of the earth? How thick is it? If we drill too deep will we fall out the other side? What is on the other side? How does the sun rise and set if the earth is flat? Is it flipping end over end, like a flipped coin?
If the earth were flat, there could be no change in seasons. If the earth were flat, how could there be summer on one side of the supposed equator and winter on the other? This would require a curved surface. Take a piece of cardboard, draw a line through the center. Now shine a flashlight on it. Can you figure out a way to cause the flashlight to shine more intensely on one side of the draw line, than on the other? How is it that Alaska and Siberia have six months of darkness and six months of daylight AT THE SAME TIME that the countries near the equator have 24 of each?
It is scientifically impossible to have varying days and nights and varying seasons on a flat earth. And the moon is clearly a ball. If is wasn't, there would not be crescents.
