Blue Skies In Sonoma!

While the weather could not be more beautiful here in northern California, the weather inside my home is filled with anguish.

Often while posting on the internet when it is discovered I am a Christian, there are certain individuals who tear me apart with words and name calling and my heart breaks while praying for their souls to be saved.

I have come to realize there is a black operation agenda to provoke Christians to violence. That is why we must know now what we will do should we get cornered in any situation - revenge and hurting others is NOT the way of the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter what.

Yesterday, one person via the internet repeatedly accused me of things I didn't say nor write and called me various names. Here is my most recent response to them this morning:

It is pointless to have a normal dialog with an agent provocateur like you are because your agenda is to try to provoke Christians to violence.

However, true Christians will only love and forgive you, my friend, no matter how many names you call us and no matter what you do. The Lord Jesus Christ set the example: he laid down his life for you, he didn't resist but willing was beaten, accused, spit on, whipped, tortured, nailed to a tree, and died a painful death out of his obedience to his heavenly Father who loves you more than you can ever imagine.

That's why it breaks his heart when you trash his name - it's like crucifying him again and again.

Dear heavenly Father, I pray for this person that you open their eyes to the truth and set them free. I hope it's not too late for them. I pray for the Holy Spirit to convict them of sin and that they get saved by the blood of the Lamb in Jesus name. May they repent of their sin I pray. Forgive me Lord, of my sins and make me more like you with more love for people like this. Thank You, Lord God Almighty! Amen.

The Good News is that the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead after 3 days and is alive today.

Cathy;
I was blog surfing and came across your blog. It is refreshing to find one who is not afraid to share the gospel with strangers and is not ashamed of the gospel.

I can't help but comment here, that as Christians we have been our own worst enemy when it comes to drawing people to the Lord. Often the church as a whole has been very judgmental and manipulative, both to the saved and the unsaved. Until we reach the place that we can truly embrace the idea that "Christ is in ME" we will continue to try to force our way into the world. Jesus has never been forceful, it is just not His way.

By our very being in the world today, we have dominion over it. Genesis accounts our creation, and God gave dominion over the earth to man. In no place recorded in scripture does He take back the dominion nor does he give it to Satan, as many have preached.

Our thoughts and actions have an amazing and profound effect on the world around us. As such, I think the most important thing a Christian can do is to guard his/her heart, and live a life that exhibits all the fruits of the Spirit.

Jesus Christ conquered Satan fully and completely when He died and rose again. We are living under a new covenant that very few Christians fully grasp. What that means to me is that I have no one to blame but me if my life is bad. God has already given me everything I need for life, health, and holiness. That means it is up to me to believe that, embrace it, and make His gifts mine. That is a life filled with the Power Jesus promised us before He left; greater things than these will you do.

If I am continually going to God to ask (convince) Him to move in a certain way, it is because I am not fully convinced that He has already completely met all my needs. It is a challenge, and it requires a great deal of personal responsibility that most Christians are not willing to assume. But it is scriptural if you examine the Word through the lens of the death and resurrection of Christ.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest! :-)

YES! CHRIST IN US, THE HOPE OF GLORY - Hallelujah!

Thank you for this excellent word of encouragement and exhortation. I agree completely, my friend.
