ALWAYS BE THANKFUL!
Last night, my granddaughter and I watched again the wonderful movie, "Pollyanna". This touching story is about a missionary orphan who like a sunbeam with her glad game, brought joy to the shadowed lives of young and old wherever she went. We can learn from Pollyanna that no matter how things look or how bad you may feel, there is always something to be glad about. When we choose to give thanks to Jesus for even the smallest thing, there is a divine connection and the Spirit of God floods our soul with joy. As hard as it is at times in this world, learning to be thankful rather than complaining brings freedom in any situation. 1 Thessalonians 5 says, "Always be joyful. Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus." THANK YOU, LORD, THAT YOUR MERCIES ARE NEW EACH MORNING!
Over the years my opinions have changed but this will never change: Jesus Christ, Lord, God and Savior, died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay for my sin.
