DID YOU KNOW...The word "Lord" occurs 7,970 times in the King James Bible, more than any other noun, but in the Message, the word "Lord" appears only 71 times.
The phrase "Lord Jesus" occurs 118 times in the King James Bible and the "Lord Jesus Christ" occurs 84 times, however, in the Message neither phrase is found one time. The outright denial of the "Lord" Jesus has never occurred in ANY translation.
Judas who betrayed Jesus never called Jesus Lord but rather Master in the King James Bible. The Message calls Jesus "Master" over 400 times. This New Age phrase "Master Jesus" appears 76 times in the Message. Note: the only other Bible using the phrase "Master Jesus" is the New Age Bible titled The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ.
