THE FAITHFUL PROTECTION OF THE LORD!
A few days ago while walking to the Memorial Church in Kudamm where Bianka & I sometimes with others have been evangelizing, I noticed a feather on the sidewalk. Then as Bianka and were talking about the spiritual significance of feathers, I saw two more & I told her. Then she said, "Look, there's another one!" as we both saw a very small one floating down between us while we walked. We laughed with joy being reminded that wherever we go, the LORD IS WITH US and we can TRUST HIM TO PROTECT US - fear is so unnecessary! HALLELUJAH! Last night we went to the Teen Challenge cafe located in one of Berlin's oldest "red light" districts. We shared the love of Jesus with several prostitutes and drug addicts through prayer, music and preaching - the LORD ministered to us all! Now today, we are again going to Kudamm to evangelize. May the LORD open the ears of these people and lift the veil to they can received FREEDOM through the message of the CROSS in Jesus name. Amen. "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare of the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague. He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day, nor dread the plague that stalks in farkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you." (from Psalm 91)

NEVER THE SAME AGAIN
Today, I am going to tell you a story. It is not a pleasant story but an important story. All over the world everyday, innocent lives are being killed through all forms of abortion & I want to help STOP ABORTION. So, I am going to tell you about my PRO-CHOICE DECISION in hopes that you will be provoked to help stop abortion too.

First let me ask, who reading this message has been personally touched by abortion? Or maybe the question should be, who HASN'T been touched in some way by abortion? Whether you have had an abortion or if you drove your girl friend to the clinic, we all at least know someone who has had an abortion. This is not some minor surgical procedure that protects the health of the mother. No, this is outright murder of a human life and it is TOTALLY GRUESOME & inhumane however or whenever it is done.

I know, I had an abortion many years ago BEFORE the Roe vs. Wade court decision legalized abortion across America.

In a southern California university medical center, I convinced them that I needed to have this abortion for my own mental health. They didn't argue much with me and so shortly thereafter, I was admitted. There were 6 beds in the room filled with women of various ages. The tone was somber and we didn't talk much to one another - we were all there for the same reason - abortion for our late-term pregnancy.

The nurse took me into a small room where they did "the procedure" (saline abortion involves replacing some of the fluid in the uterus with a salt solution using a long needle. I discovered years later that this actually burns the living baby alive in the womb). We were located in the burn unit of the hospital and in the next room you could heard loud, bone-chilling screaming. I was told this was a patient being put into a bath where the bandages were being removed and pulling off the skin - I should have left then.

So for me, something went wrong with "the procedure" and they said they would have to do "it" again tomorrow. Later in the wee hours of the night, I was suddenly woken up to screaming from one of the girls in the room. A nurse came in, pulled the curtain around her and eventually, she stopped and I fell back asleep.

The next moring the girl was gone and I was taken again for "the procedure" which proved to be "sucessful". Later that night, I suddenly went into heavy labor. In great pain, I called the nurse who came but could not do much. She left and I kept ringing the bell because the pain was so great. She got irritated with me, saying she was very busy and left again.

Then it happened. I gave birth to a purple colored dead baby in my bed. One more time, I rang the nurse and she came. With a disgusted look on her face, she said the next shift was coming and they would clean up "this mess". So for about 1/2 hour, I lay on my side with a dead baby and placenta (after-birth) behind me. (Jesus I know you have forgiven me of this horrible sin, but it still hurts when I think about it - I am so sorry, LORD.)

Finally, the next nurse came, cleaned up "the mess" and I left, returning to my life, never the same again...

"PRAYING FOR PEACE" by Ron Dicianni
"I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God's mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, for he wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message that God gave to the world at the proper time. (from 1 Timothy 2)

THE HOLY SPIRIT
"So be careful how you live, not as fools but as those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days. Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, let the Holy Spirit fill and control you. Then you will sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making music to the Lord in your hearts. And you will always give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 5) Today, Bianka and I went down to Kudamm again and sat on the steps of the Memorial church. The LORD reminded us before we got there that He was our protection and we could rest in Him - HALLELUJAH! So we worshipped the LORD with guitar and talked to various people, mostly to the Goths who hang out there. Then 20-year-old Mike came up to me - we recognized each other from a Christian meeting in another city with Mr. Cava and a Pensacola team a couple of years ago! He was a bit drunk and confessed that he had a problem with alcohol, so we prayed for him and he prayed too asking God to forgive him because he felt ashamed and guilty. He was visiting with a friend from Neustadt-Glewe for the day and said he was really glad to see me. This was one of several good conversations we had as we are developing relationships with these lost young people. PLEASE REVEAL YOUR LOVE TO THEM AND SET THEM FREE LORD JESUS!!!

IT'S TIME!
Today, Bianka & I along with a few other friends went down to Kudamm in the rain on the steps by the Memorial Church to share Jesus & worship the LORD with guitar. First Bianka preached and then I. Afterwards, a Peruvian man came up and said that God had brought us & he offered microphones for us to use right then to preach more!!!! He and his music group are Christians. I had heard their music before - mostly instrumental - and had wanted to tell them that it sounded like worship - and I guess it was! So AMAZINGLY, Bianka & I took turns preaching & singing for a few hours I guess, planting LOTS of seeds, talking and praying with different ones. People stopped to listen, a few mocked and laughed, and even the satanists were there trying to distract us, but the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST WAS PROCLAIMED! Both Bianka and I were stunned at this huge open door as these Peruvian musicians invited us to return! Before we left, I noticed a man standing nearby, so we asked him if he knew Jesus. He said he didn't think he could be forgiven because 11 years ago he murdered his wife. Then shortly thereafter while he was in prison, his daughter committed suicide - SO MUCH PAIN! We shared about the depth of Jesus' forgiveness & His healing love which gave him hope. Then after praying for him, he thanked us and said he did feel better. SAVE HIM, LORD! Like everywhere, Berlin has MANY hurting people who need to know that their Creator passionately loves them. PLEASE SET THE PEOPLE FREE, LORD JESUS! AND SEND MORE LABORERS TO THE FIELDS WHICH ARE WHITE, READY FOR HARVEST!

GLORY! GLORY! SEND YOUR GLORY!
I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the LORD; let all who are discouraged take heart. Come, let us tell of the LORD's greatness; let us exalt his name together. I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me, freeing me from all my fears. (from Psalm 34)

The book, "Enjoying God" by SJ Hill, will remind you that you're loved for who you are instead of what you do. It teaches that you were created for Someone rather than something. It will challenge you to unleash your passions to the divine Romancer - God Himself. It will move you out of your comfort zone! DAVID HOGAN IN BERLIN
I'd seen videos of him from when he spoke at BRSM Bible school in Pensacola some years ago, but tonight I not only heard him preach, but also got prayer from him. David Hogan and his team of missionaries have ministered to the Indians of Mexico for over 20 years about 75 miles southwest of Tampico. David was raised by his Southern Baptist family in Louisiana. His father was a pastor. The ministry has become known for some amazing miracles through the Holy Spirit including over 200 people being raised from the dead! David has a real heart for the Indians in Mexico and he lays down his life for them. When not in Mexico he ministers under a strong anointing for preaching and healing. His visit tonight was faith building and powerful! (more info here)

Berlin-Hellersdorf Youth
SABINE
Yesterday, on the way home after ministering to the youth in Hellersdorf, I had an interesting encounter. While waiting for the bus, I saw a young girl begging for money and I noticed she was wearing a somewhat large cross, so I asked her if she believed in Jesus. She spoke pretty good English and said yes. So as my bus came and went, we chatted about her life and about Jesus. Sabine is 16 and her mother kicked her out of the house because she had a poster in her bedroom about Jesus and the cross! She doesn't go to school because she lives either on the streets or with her boyfriend, who she says also believes in Jesus. I was surprised when Sabine volunteerly told me that they don't have sex because she wants to wait until she is married! I was amazed to hear her as she spoke because she seemed to love Jesus so much! I prayed with her and offered to give her and her boy friend a Bible study at their place - we will see if they call. PLEASE BLESS SABINE, LORD JESUS, AND MAY HER MOM GET SAVED & FIND FREEDOM IN YOU!

JENNIE FINCH, #27
Jennie will celebrate her 24th birthday in a couple of weeks and at 6-foot-1, she is the standout pitcher for the U.S. Olympic softball team, throwing the ball 70 miles per hour! In college, she set an NCAA record by winning 60 straight games, but more importantly, Jennie says, "I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; He is my Lord and Savior. My faith has affected my career greatly. I would not be who I am today. God gave me this talent to use and He helps me daily to continue to pursue His will. He has blessed me with great parents, great friends, awesome teammates, so many great coaches, a great strength coach and so much more... I am here to be a role model for young girls and show them what really counts ... and that is what is on the inside... True happiness and contentment is not found in the things of this world, but in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ... Being rich in spirit!!!! I cant express that enough, its about living right and knowing what really matters in life. Fame and money will come and go but your family and your faith will be with you forever... This really hit me this Christmas, God spoke loud and clear to me and has shown me what really matters in life and what true happiness is!!! ... Yes, I think all of us believers take a little heat about confessing our faith. Compared to what Jesus had to face its nothing. I saw "Passion of Christ," what a great movie. Keep up the good work on and off the field. Its not easy in today's world but with God all things are possible!!! We all struggle and fall, keep your eyes set on him!!! #27" (quotes taken from Jennie's website http://www.jenniefinch.net and to read about other Christian athletes, go to http://www.bpsports.net/default.asp)

JESUS LOVES ME!
Today in an email, I was asked by a good friend if I had been coming under spiritual attack. I replied saying that I guessed so but that I am learning not to focus on that but rather on my Bridegroom King Who passionately loves me no matter what - HALLELUJAH!!! Yesterday while outside I noticed a little dragonfly come and sit on the fence near me. As I watched him, he turned his little head this way and that and I noticed the detail of his four translucent wings and his delicate body. (Earlier in the afternoon, some friends were talking about the bigness of space and the galaxies & how the LORD even knew the number of our hairs and that HE CARED.) So as I am looking at this little dragonfly, watching the wind blow his wings as he clings to the fence, resting, I prayed, "Lord, are You speaking to me through this?" Then I noticed on each of his beautiful wings, on the tip there was one tiny black dot. I thought how sweet that the LORD cared enough to add a little spot on each wing, like dotting an "i"... almost like a little kiss on each of its wings, the signature of the LORD! Then all at once, I was overcome with the love of the LORD and began to weep. He loved this little dragonfly SO much and He loves me even more! God created every detail of our lives in love - He cares so much about us! He is SO big yet He cares about the tiniest detail. Nothing goes unnoticed by our heavenly Papa. Why do we seem to forget this very wonderful revelation of the LORD?? Then today, I learned that the little dot near the wing tip is called "stigma" and is a blood-filled spot. And the dictionary defines "stigma" as a mark or token of infamy or disgrace. (stain). And that "stigmata" are the marks or sores corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus!" YES, JESUS LOVES ME. THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO!

Why is Jesus crying?
WAKE-UP CALL!
Today, I just read a very disturbing news article about a mother of three who had an abortion, but then was shocked to find out the head of her unborn baby had been left inside her! She said, "At midnight, my ex-partner knocked on the door to check if I was all right. ... I went to the bathroom and as I was sitting there, I just felt something slip out of me as if I had just given birth. I looked in the toilet and saw this lump that seemed to have a bone in it. So I showed it to my former partner." The couple realized they were looking at the face of their unborn child, seeing the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. The tiny head measured no more than 4 centimeters. "We just broke down and cried at what we were seeing. We couldn't believe it," she sobbed to the paper. "I phoned an ambulance and they took me to the hospital to make sure that no other parts were left inside of me. They said I could have died if it had stayed inside me." She was able to discuss the situation with the doctor who had performed her abortion. "He leaned over my bedside and said, 'I am so sorry. In all the procedures I've done, I've never come across this,'" she said. "He even tried to take the head away, but I said I wanted to keep it because we wanted to have a proper burial." Distraught, she is now seeking legal advice on what to do next. "I feel as if I'm going insane now; I can't just let this happen to me," she said. WHEN WILL WE WAKE UP AND REALIZE THAT KILLING OUR UNBORN CHILDREN IS NOT THE ANSWER?? This is why Jesus is crying...
Exodus 23:7 says, "Keep far away from falsely charging anyone with evil. Never put an innocent or honest person to death. I will not allow anyone guilty of this to go free."
Deuteronomy 27:25 says, "Cursed is anyone who accepts payment to kill an innocent person."
Psalm 106:36-40 says, "They worshiped their idols, and this led to their downfall. They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters. By sacrificing them to the idols of Canaan, they polluted the land with murder. They defiled themselves by their evil deeds, and their love of idols was adultery in the LORD's sight. That is why the LORD's anger burned against his people, and he abhorred his own special possession."
Proverbs 6:16-19 says, "There are six things the LORD hates--no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord among brothers."
Jeremiah 22:3 says, "This is what the LORD says: Be fair-minded and just. Do what is right! Help those who have been robbed; rescue them from their oppressors. Quit your evil deeds! Do not mistreat foreigners, orphans, and widows. Stop murdering the innocent!"
Jeremiah 22:17 says, ""But you! You are full of selfish greed and dishonesty! You murder the innocent, oppress the poor, and reign ruthlessly."
Jeremiah 49:12 says, "And this is what the LORD says: "If the innocent must suffer, how much more must you! You will not go unpunished! You must drink this cup of judgment!"
Ezekiel 33:25 says, "Now give these people this message from the Sovereign LORD: You eat meat with blood in it, you worship idols, and you murder the innocent. Do you really think the land should be yours?"
Psalm 127:3-5 says, "Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like sharp arrows in a warrior's hands. How happy is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates."
Matthew 19:13-15 says, “Some children were brought to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. The disciples told them not to bother him. But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." And he put his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.

What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow.

THE CROSS
When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" "Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets." Then he asked them, "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you lock on earth will be locked in heaven, and whatever you open on earth will be opened in heaven." Then he sternly warned them not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. From then on Jesus began to tell his disciples plainly that he had to go to Jerusalem, and he told them what would happen to him there. He would suffer at the hands of the leaders and the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, and he would be raised on the third day. But Peter took him aside and corrected him. "Heaven forbid, Lord," he said. "This will never happen to you!" Jesus turned to Peter and said, "Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, and not from God's." Then Jesus said to the disciples, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross, and follow me. If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life. And how do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul in the process? Is anything worth more than your soul? For I, the Son of Man, will come in the glory of my Father with his angels and will judge all people according to their deeds. (Matthew 16)

"LET EVERTHING THAT LIVES SING PRAISES TO THE LORD! HALLELUJAH! Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And those who have reason to be thankful should continually sing praises to the Lord." from Psalm 150, Colossians 3, & James 5
This afternoon while walking by a small children's playground, I sensed the LORD wanted me to go in, sit down, and worship Him with my guitar. I was thinking, no, but I stopped, prayed and did it. So as I began to sing, some children came over and were happy to hear music, giggling. Then their mother (or grandmother?) came over and sat next to me, smiling. Also 3 teenage girls came near and listened, as well as some guys from Africa who were playing basketball. And a father and son were playing ping-pong in earshot as well. So, I sang prophetic songs, thanking Jesus for the freedom He gave me by dying on the cross and rising from the dead and so on - HALLELUJAH! Well, the woman who sat next to me was a moslem (she wore a headcovering), so I gave her a tract in Arabic. She smiled big and thanked me! PLEASE SAVE THEM ALL, LORD JESUS!!!

DOES HE KNOW ME? by Oswald Chambers "He calls his own by name" — John 10:3
When I have sadly misunderstood Him? (see John 20:11-18 ). It is possible to know all about doctrine and still not know Jesus. A person’s soul is in grave danger when the knowledge of doctrine surpasses Jesus, avoiding intimate touch with Him. Why was Mary weeping? Doctrine meant no more to her than the grass under her feet. In fact, any Pharisee could have made a fool of Mary doctrinally, but one thing they could never ridicule was the fact that Jesus had cast seven demons out of her (see Luke 8:2 ); yet His blessings were nothing to her in comparison with knowing Jesus Himself. ". . . she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. . . . Jesus said to her, ’Mary!’ " ( John 20:14, 16 ). Once He called Mary by her name, she immediately knew that she had a personal history with the One who spoke. "She turned and said to Him, ’Rabboni!’ " ( John 20:16 ).
When I have stubbornly doubted? (see John 20:24-29 ). Have I been doubting something about Jesus— maybe an experience to which others testify, but which I have not yet experienced? The other disciples said to Thomas, "We have seen the Lord" ( John 20:25 ). But Thomas doubted, saying, "Unless I see . . . I will not believe" ( John 20:25 ). Thomas needed the personal touch of Jesus. When His touches will come we never know, but when they do come they are indescribably precious. "Thomas . . . said to Him, ’My Lord and my God!’ " ( John 20:28 ).
When I have selfishly denied Him? (see John 21:15-17 ). Peter denied Jesus Christ with oaths and curses (see Matthew 26:69-75 ), and yet after His resurrection Jesus appeared to Peter alone. Jesus restored Peter in private, and then He restored him publicly before the others. And Peter said to Him, "Lord . . . You know that I love You" ( John 21:17 ).
Do I have a personal history with Jesus Christ? The one true sign of discipleship is intimate oneness with Him— a knowledge of Jesus that nothing can shake.

JESUS CALMS THE STORM
From Luke 8: One day Jesus said to his disciples, "Let's cross over to the other side of the lake." So they got into a boat and started out. On the way across, Jesus lay down for a nap, and while he was sleeping the wind began to rise. A fierce storm developed that threatened to swamp them, and they were in real danger. The disciples woke him up, shouting, "Master, Master, we're going to drown!" So Jesus rebuked the wind and the raging waves. The storm stopped and all was calm! Then he asked them, "Where is your faith?" And they were filled with awe and amazement. They said to one another, "Who is this man, that even the winds and waves obey him?"

The LORD is my shepherd
I have everything I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You welcome me as a guest, anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever." Psalm 23 by David
In John 10, Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will leave the sheep because they aren't his and he isn't their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. The hired hand runs away because he is merely hired and has no real concern for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep."
And Peter wrote, "For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. He paid for you with the precious lifeblood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him for this purpose long before the world began, but now in these final days, he was sent to the earth for all to see. And he did this for you."
THE FUTURE? John wrote in Revelation, "Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a huge crowd, or the roar of mighty ocean waves, or the crash of loud thunder: 'Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice and honor him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. She is permitted to wear the finest white linen.' (Fine linen represents the good deeds done by the people of God.) And the angel said, 'Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.' And he added, 'These are true words that come from God.'"

TOOK A WALK...
As I walked over the bridge, I saw the swan family swimming by and decided to catch up with them and take more pictures. The four babies were so big since the last time I saw them several weeks ago! Then continued along the Spree River, past by the Rathaus (city hall) Charlottenburg, and when I returned back to the bridge, the LORD blessed me with a beautiful sunset - DANKE JESUS!

"PEACE BE WITH YOU!" - Jesus
Isaiah prophesied, "For to us a Child will be born. To us a Son will be given. And the rule of the nations will be on His shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Teacher, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to His rule and His peace, upon the throne of David and over his nation. He will build it to last and keep it strong with what is right and fair and good from that time and forever. The work of the Lord of All will do this." Many years later, Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus, "For Christ himself has made peace between us Jews and you Gentiles by making us all one people. He has broken down the wall of hostility that used to separate us. By his death he ended the whole system of Jewish law that excluded the Gentiles. His purpose was to make peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new person from the two groups. Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death, and our hostility toward each other was put to death. He has brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and to us Jews who were near. Now all of us, both Jews and Gentiles, may come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us." May the PEACE OF GOD be yours through the PRINCE OF PEACE!

God loves you, little Hedgehog!
On the sixth day, GOD said, "Let the earth bring forth every kind of animal--livestock, small animals, and wildlife." And so it was. God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to reproduce more of its own kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, "Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life--the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the livestock, wild animals, and small animals." So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them. God blessed them and told them, "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it. Be masters over the fish and birds and all the animals." And God said, "Look! I have given you the seed-bearing plants throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. And I have given all the grasses and other green plants to the animals and birds for their food." And so it was. Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was excellent in every way!

3 DAYS OLD AND 3 MONTHS OLD
Today at the Glimm home church, little 3 day old Elia and 3 month old Sulamith were dedicated to the LORD. Elia is the German name for Elijah and he surprised everyone by being born at home 30 minutes BEFORE the midwife arrived! Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I assure you, anyone who doesn't have their kind of faith will never get into the Kingdom of God." Then he took the children into his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.

WILLOW TREE BY THE SPREE
While walking along the Spree River here in Berlin yesterday, I came upon a big, beautiful weeping willow tree and was reminded of the promise as well as the warning of Psalm 1 written by David...
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers. But they delight in doing everything the LORD wants; day and night they think about his law. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper. But this is not true of the wicked. They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.
