After watching the desperation on television of the victims of Hurricane Katrina, I am outraged how they are being treated, not given water and food - HELP THEM, LORD, AND PLEASE FORGIVE US OF OUR SINS! We as a nation have done so many wicked things and we need to repent and turn to Jesus. Here is the definition of "repent": v. To sorrow or be pained for sin, as a violation of God's holy law, a dishonor to His character and government, and the foulest ingratitude to a Being of infinite benevolence. The promise the Lord gives us when we do is this: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14

  2. Cathy-to repent means to change one's mind and forsake the lies. Truly we need to seek His face and turn from our wicked ways. Judgement has begun and will increase in the days, weeks and months to come. However, man will continually mock and gnash his teeth at the Almighty rather than repent. We are living in those "perilous times spoken of in the scriptures. Messiah is Coming for when you see all these things look up for our Redemption draweth nigh!

  3. Amen Rick! Jesus said in Luke 24, "Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." May repentance and remission of sins be preached to all in Christ's name!
