Can you be bought? I mean if someone offered you a boatload of cash to do what they ask, would you say yes? Or if you were caught in the middle of an embarassing situation, would you lie to get out of it? Are you willing to compromise your values to keep peace or protect someone? For too many people in power, this seems to be how they live their lives. Are we willing to honestly look at our own lives? Does it line up with what the Word of God/the Bible teaches?
"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." Galations 5
How many of us do or say things we will eventually regret when we stand before the Lord Jesus Christ on judgment day? If you are reading this and are bothered by these words, that is good and there is hope for you because your heart has not become too hardened!
"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." 1 John 1
So, the question is, what is it worth to you to loose your own soul?
"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 16

Rights group urges U.S. to deny Israel cluster bombs
Why are we giving Israel weapons? Besides the horror of killing countless innocent people, cluster bombs when dropped sometimes fail to explode or drift in the wind a long way from the intended target. Then accidents occur with children who are attracted to the brightly colored unexploded bomblets.
