The word "Najoth" means settlements or dwelling places and Najoth (or Naioth) was a monastery where the prophet's disciples lived. When David sought shelter from Saul, he went here. At Najoth, the prophetic presence of God saturated the area so much that the prophetic Holy Spirit fell on others who came near, releasing them into the prophetic flow of God (1 Samuel 19 & 20). The essence of the truth revealed by Jesus is the Spirit of all prophecy. May the prophetic gifts in each of us become more active & fruitful to glory of God!

Das Wort "Najoth" bedeutet Niederlassung oder Wohnung und Najoth (oder Naioth) war ein Kloster, in dem die Schüler der Propheten lebten. Als David Schutz vor Saul suchte, ging er in ein solches. Im Najoth durchtränkte die prophetische Gegenwart Gottes die Gegend so sehr, daß der Heilige Geist auf andere fiel, die in die Nähe kamen, und sie in den prophetischen Fluß Gottes hineinnahm (1. Samuel 19 & 20). Das Wesen der Wahrheit, die durch Jesus offenbart wurde, ist der Geist aller Prophetie. Mögen die prophetischen Gaben in jedem von uns wirksamer und fruchtbarer werden, zur Ehre Gottes!
